The Hand
the man with the backward hand—this wasn’t the only thing backwards about him, he ate soup with a fork and bread with a spoon, spoke in tongues (resembling pig latin) only recognized a moment too soon, walked on his hands in a perennial handstand, and after a long day of work he’d curl up underneath his bed, comforted by the floorboard beneath his head.
