Hiccup, for his part, never liked the dull and tedious life of the Berk Court. He always dreamed of traveling the seven seas and exploring new worlds–and while he didn’t expect to do so on a pirate ship, he wasn’t exactly…complaining (most of the time). It helped that the Pirate Captain who kidnapped him was strangely alluring and fiercely captivating ;)
