Ceramic buttons! These are sold but I’m quite tempted to make some for myself. And should I make more buttons and put in the shop?
These little fiddly things took some time to make, carefully glaze and also make sure they’re all the same size. Just because something is smol, doesn’t mean it’s faster to make, sometimes actually the opposite :)

I didn’t want to abandon these bowls that cracked in a dramatic pit-fire. So I decided to repair them and cover them with leather! And I quite love the outcome. What do you think?

In the shop: woodborer and bark plates. All of them different from eachother. Does anyone else enjoy having “mismatched” mugs and plates in their cupboard? Just one of each, it’s more fun like that:D

Three little kåsor looking to be adopted.

A kåsa (aka guksi, aka kuksa) is usually made in wood, from a birch tree burl. They are traditionally crafted by the Sami people (duodji) and often beautifully adorned with patterns and reindeer antler inlays. The are very common over here and you’ll find ones in plastic too. Perfect for fika break while on a hike. That was my inspiration for these.
Btw there are three in stock on Etsy, but to purchase more than one it seems you have to first add it to your cart, then you can change quantity.
