Christian Siriano Spring 2014 runway show had an abundance of glamour. We love a heroin chic moment just as much as the next, but something about putting the needle down and a sparkling gown on gives us a different kind of cloud nine glow.

CHRISTIAN SIRIANO NYFW F/W 2013

Christian Siriano has always been a bit of an oddity in the business.  Every mention of his name amongst true insiders always seemed to be footnoted with a knowing tone of questioning why he is the phenomenon he is. His behavior did little to thwart the naysayers either.  His collections were extravagant shows that seemed more about flash & pomp than real fashion.  His end of show bows were quirky little displays that had him running out, waving & almost pretending to trip while laughing.   Was her serious or not?  Who knew… until this season.
