You can fill in your own caption about femdom and being used as a slave, it doesn’t fit me so I wont. I just like the drops on the yellow pants, which are, of course, just raindrops.

After 6 months of intense use, these rubber boots are now cracked and leaking. At least I get to use them about 6 times a week, 4km a time. Worth it.

They fulfill my needs, now I give something back.

A small compilation of some rainwear footage. A walk through the forest with wet grass, puddles, and heavier mud. All while dressed in raingear of course.

Dark green 66North rainsuit. This suit has not seen that much action, so the shine of brand-new PVC is still there. Add a bit of sunlight and it quickly becomes hypnotizing.

Many of my pictures I take by myself as that gives time to experiment with angles, poses, and different gear. Plus it avoids that conversation of why you take so many pictures of raingear on a regular basis, and why you want to photograph rainwear indoors while lying on bed, hihi.

The process of taking pictures is quite “simple”. Most modern cameras have WiFi and with a (free) app from the manufacturer you can connect your camera with your phone turning it into a remote control with preview. Simply put your camera on a tripod, turn on a few seconds of delay, find the right composition by looking at the preview on your screen, press the button, and put your phone out of view quickly.

For more interesting compositions you will need someone to take the pictures, as a tripod will simply not do.

Next you can sort through the results for the best pics, cut them favorably to fit the ratio you are looking for, photoshop out dust, hairs, and ugly spots on the gear, adjust color balance, exposure, lighting, saturation, etc, and post. Unless you get second thoughts about that one pose showing just a bit too much or the one that might give the wrong impression.

Maybe 1 in 20 pictures survives this process. Some days I end up happy with 10 pictures, other days nothing is of use. It doesn’t matter too much: part of the fun is creating the composition, putting on the gear, and critically judging the results: its never a waste.

Now on the site (rainwearpassion dot com): a closer look at Vintage Wellies.

This is obviously a very exciting subject: a small company bringing “vintage inspired” rubber boots to market that haven’t been produced in decades.

New article just got posted on rainwearpassion dot com. Its quite a different type of writing but I thought it was necessary. Enjoy the holidays.

Trying out some video. Getting inspired is easy, creating a script also, even post production isn’t difficult… but getting some decent shots is just too hard.
