Got tired of seeing the same glowcore gif’s over and over again on those stim boards. (Not saying those stim boards aren’t pretty! I just wanna see something different.) Figured I might find some more gifs for tumblr to use!
Apollo and Yhwh are both Dynocation based on their respective mythologies.
Apollo is from Pantheon and Yhwh from Christianity.
They are most commonly mistaken to be the same god, but are vastly different in age and stories.
Apollo is an older god, whose mother was banished from Earth due to his mother having been in a infidel relationship with Zeus(angering Hera). He was born on the moon where as a child he proceeded to attack and banish the world snake, a huge demonic being that scared the gods at the time and earned him his royalty amongst his own kind. He would never live this deed down and demand worship from all mortals for it. This was until Cupid bested him in a archery competition and crushed his ego. He settled down among humans where he told them prophecies and even met a human that became his spouse, which another god killed out of jealousy. His prophets then betrayed him which further hurt his ego along with his emotional turmoil due to his dead spouse. He retreated to Olympus where he spends time with his brother Dionysus[Baki](Another God). — Yhwh doesn’t have a well defined backstory (that is written). What’s known is as a young God he wasn’t friends with or liked by other Gods. He had a wife with a unknown identity, but she was presumed to be a deity as well. He creates mortals that he quickly befriends, and makes some children to rule by his side. His mortals betray him though and abandon him after a spat with a demonic apple tree. In the same moments of, his own children try to murder him and take his throne. He fights a war and manages to banish the children guilty of betrayal. Afterwards he becomes reclusive and rarely leaves his throne which resides in a kingdom called “Heaven”. — Where people tend to mix the two up is due to Apollo being humanoid and majestic in looks. Apollo’s visual representation is meant to be symbolic though. His ego is so bright like his appearance.
Yhwh on the other hand is draconic in appearance. He’s described as being terrifying to witness. This is symbolic of him caring more about personality than appearances.
