Just because you’re hurting doesn’t mean you aren’t healing. Growing pains and healing pains can be just as bad as the pain of the original injury, but they’re a side effect of you getting stronger, and they aren’t forever. Even though healing is hard, and it hurts, it’s better than waiting a lifetime guarding an open, festering wound. Some things get worse before they get better, but it’s worth it to stick it out.
