The religious argument that people can’t possibly be trans because God cannot make mistakes has always been a weird one to me, because who’s to say God didn’t intend on making somebody trans?

My dad put it best; for some reason or another, God sometimes decides to give his children specific experiences, and being trans is an experience. He doesn’t make mistakes, so being trans isn’t a mistake. What is a mistake is forcing his children to think they are a mistake.
