between vader being in reva’s eye on the new poster instead of obi wan like the other inquisitors + rumours of someone from jedi fallen order being in the kenobi series + trilla and reva both being ex jedi i have concocted a narrative where reva and trilla were super close friends (maybe even more) and the reason reva is trying to get close to vader is to get revenge for him killing trilla

I cannot stress enough how much I *enjoy* Reva as a character. She’s such a cool villain and she owns every scene that she’s in. I would watch an entire miniseries about her.

I thought she wasn’t being very scary… But also tried again and again, first to lie, to spook, and to threaten… rather than hurt.
I see fans saying she doesn’t feel like she has teeth, but I think in the case of Leia it’s probably intentional. OFC there’s the element of the writers dragging this on because Obi-Wan needed time to do his snooping, but I’d like to think that Reva very much didn’t want to put a child in a torture chair and would have much preferred to scare the truth out of her.
She’s been there, and she doesn’t actually wish it on Leia. It doesn’t have to be very conscious, but she could have an inner squeamishness about this. Tracking old Jedi, the people who “abandoned her” has an aspect of revenge. Meanwhile, Leia, with her hints of Force sensitivity, may as well be her.

She hesitated to press that button. She was gonna do it, because that’s her job, but she gave Leia every opportunity–to save herself, as she put it. She tried to connect with her.
Like, do people honestly think we’re not gonna get a backstory reveal for Reva?? idk, I feel like it would’ve been a bit weird of her to unload all that on a seemingly spoiled brat that she doesn’t even know.
But we saw that poor little youngling in stasis. He was part of the group being protected in the opening Order 66 scene (go back and check, he’s there). We all know, or can guess, that Reva was part of that group. How horrifying, for one of her agemates to be kept in the same building, never getting to grow up. A trophy.
