i was messin around w/ a hogwarts au and ended up drawing these… my sorting headcanons are based more on their adult selves & are also fairly self indulgent so don’t @ me gknkfdng

ive accumulated WAY too many picrews of my ocs over the years so i decided to put them to good use and redraw a handful of them! (picrews on the left, redraws on the right)

extremely fun to compare & translate each style into my own, 100% recommend this exercise if you too keep thousands of pictures of your ocs in your pockets at all times,

i came up w the dumbest idea for an oc but then had nothing i could use her for so i guess i have a bnha oc now (extremely jealous of her if im being honest)

Quirk: Speedpaint
- when activated allows her to process information at speeds rivaling those of computers with movement speed to match (but like, SPECIFICALLY wrt art lol)
- use of her quirk takes up energy equal to the amount it would take to perform these tasks normally; the faster she moves the more energy it eats up / the less time she can maintain it
- if she uses it for too long / goes past her energy limit she can pass out from exhaustion, hunger, dehydration, or a combination of all three; always makes sure to eat/drink/sleep sufficiently before using her quirk to avoid this
- tends to work on three main speeds:
  - 16x speed: relaxed, knows she can take her time. can maintain for abt 6hr real time
  - 32x speed: standard; not in any particular rush, just a normal day’s work. can maintain for abt 3hr real time
  - 64x speed: emergency. can maintain for abt 1hr 30min real time

- v health conscious; makes sure to always have a balanced diet w/ enough nutrients to supplement her quirk

- night owl but keeps to a strict sleep schedule; 9 hrs minimum, goes to bed no later than 3am & wakes up no later than 12pm
(room has blackout curtains to ensure deep, uninterrupted sleep)

does yoga every morning when planning to draw to loosen up & relax muscles/body; helps prevent stiffness & soreness after using her quirk

- author of like 3 mangas at once (has a writer for 1 of them so all she has to do is draw)
- 1 story manga, 1 autobiographical gag web manga, & 1 shounen manga written by someone else & drawn by her
- also sometimes helps out mangaka friends who are coming up on tight deadlines & need all the help they can get
- uses her quirk to get work done quickly but she also enjoys drawing normally from time to time; finds it relaxing, a nice change of pace

- after a good long day of work she is typically v tired and will spend the rest of the day either sleeping or relaxing.

- quirk works for the actual concepting, storyboarding and drawing of the manga but not for planning out the story; she has to do the writing phase at normal speed (this also applies to typing out sound effects & the dialogue in speech bubbles)

now that my first art fight has come to a close i just gotta say what a fantastic event!! getting into the spirit of gifting art and celebrating everyone’s ocs has been so lovely and so much fun, i’m already excited to get back into the fray next year; great experience, highly recommend!!
