Debuting at VanCAF 2017: Cakewalk

Fourteen or fifteen years ago, Gabriel Frizzera and Ian Christy started “Draw Jam”, a weekly Sunday meet-up to drink & draw. It regularly consisted of jam comics: passing pages around, adding panels, and making up the story as it went. For whatever reason, “Cakewalk” was the only story that lasted beyond five pages, and off and on, over the years, Gabriel, and Draw Jam regular Mike Myhre, continued adding to it, long after the end of Draw Jam itself. They would constantly derail the story to trip each other up, or forget what had been changed in recent panels, adding up to a convoluted comic, whose major strength was the drawings got better, and major weakness was it made very little sense. This is that comic.
