Inktober Day 11: Tuna The tuna (prickly pear or cactus fruit) is a fruit that has been found in Perú since ancient times. The inside of the fruit is bright red, almost purple with many small seeds. It is said to be good for digestion as well as preventing and helping diabetes.

Stormy and high tide at the beach. No one around because there was no beach to enjoy. We just went down to the water and then turned back because we couldn’t really do anything :(
Went for a hike today :) Thought I’d re-create my most popular post , taken in 2015 when Betsy was 2. Now she’s 5, looks a little less like a puppy, has a little more grey, but she’s still healthy and happy and young at heart.
Taken today. Ben didn’t get any good ones of us, sadly! We went for a walk along the water and stopped at a few beaches so Betsy could enjoy some off leash time. Nothing gets her more excited than the beach! She turns into a wild animal.
Also from a few weeks ago - chilling with Ben. Sorry I haven’t been uploading as much, it’s mainly because I’ve noticed whenever I upload from my phone the photos aren’t very good quality? So I kind of got annoyed and stopped posting. Doing a few from my computer now that I have a chance.
Lol I’m making dinner and Betsy is being a good girl and watching from her mat and then I realize she’s grabbed the baby’s stuffed Bunny and is keeping it with her like a comfort object
When your dog is smart enough to do what you want without you actually training the trick Betsy knows “go settle” (aka place/lay on mat) but she doesn’t know “pose with your head resting on the ground” however I just patted the ground, said “head down here Betsy boo” (lol dog trainer technique of the year not) and she guessed correctly what I wanted ♥️
Still not posting recognizable baby pictures but here’s a little outtake photo :) baby loves dog. Dog is pretty ok with baby (I think she sees her as a member of the household but since baby doesn’t do anything fun or tasty, Betsy dismisses her as a useless, and occasionally annoying, addition). I still keep them separate most of the time because it just seems like the kind thing to do for the dog. Babies are grabby! Exception made for a photo shoot of course :)
