If you’ve tried to check out my shop this past month, you’ll have noticed that I’ve closed it down for the time being. I decided pretty quickly (even before CA’s mandatory stay-at-home measures) that as a higher-risk person I definitely couldn’t continue to go to the post office to fulfill orders (and no, arranging for package pickups isn’t something I can/want to do either). It’s discouraging as I had big plans this year for how to grow my business, but outside of that I can say that thankfully I still have freelance work, so money’s not the issue at least. (Finally, stretching myself in too many directions is paying off!) I know I’m really lucky in that regard. In fact, freelance work is why I’ve been so absent here lately, but soon I will be back at it and updating again, including new fiber work. Somehow I’ve still gained a handful of new followers while I’ve been neglecting updates, so thanks everyone for looking at my work!
