I made a wolf mask with wool felt.I can see the outside through the eyes in this mask.A wolf’s tooth is a shaved eraser. I mimicked the character mask of the rock music group called MWM in Japan. I will wear this mask and I will go to the concert of MWM.

If you’ve tried to check out my shop this past month, you’ll have noticed that I’ve closed it down for the time being. I decided pretty quickly (even before CA’s mandatory stay-at-home measures) that as a higher-risk person I definitely couldn’t continue to go to the post office to fulfill orders (and no, arranging for package pickups isn’t something I can/want to do either). It’s discouraging as I had big plans this year for how to grow my business, but outside of that I can say that thankfully I still have freelance work, so money’s not the issue at least. (Finally, stretching myself in too many directions is paying off!) I know I’m really lucky in that regard. In fact, freelance work is why I’ve been so absent here lately, but soon I will be back at it and updating again, including new fiber work. Somehow I’ve still gained a handful of new followers while I’ve been neglecting updates, so thanks everyone for looking at my work! Be back soon with more!

Getting excited for Halloween, with a new addition to our wee homestead craft shop …
I’ve spent the last week helping my daughter to needle felt these cute little pumpkins. It’s really not as easy as it looks, and I’m still not a fan of the sharp and very pointy needles …
Anyway, I was truly amazed at how much time, effort and attention to detail goes into making each and every one. My hat goes off to her and all the other needle felters out there, it’s a wonderful craft and I think you do a brilliant job …
