Goodness, it’s been a long time since I did a spell under the full moon like I did last night! I’m more of a morning lark, so I have difficulties staying up late enough for the moon to get above the forest trees where I live. But I managed it last night, and it felt incredible!
The full moon last night was in Sagittarius, as was Saturn. So, I tried to channel some adventurous, driven Fire energy (considering it was Tuesday as well), in addition to the deeper, flowing energies of the moon and the more concentrated, task-oriented energies of Saturn. To do this, I used my obsidian arrowhead to help channel energy into my red jasper and into myself.
It was totally wild! I could feel the red jasper heating up as I held it up to the moon, the warmth radiating onto my fingers. Energy was swirling around and through my body, too! And today, I’ve felt a lot more driven overall, and haven’t had to rely as much on certain crutches like sugar!
Sometimes, we get stuck in karmic cycles that need broken. Recognize them and change the outcomes when you start to see patterns! Saturn transits are the biggest key in Astrology to bring on these karmic cycles, since Saturn is the planet of karma. Look to your house that is ruled by Capricorn and what transits are there to get an idea of what kind of karma is being brought out in your life.
On December 6th, the Cassini spacecraft snapped the highest resolution image of Saturn’smoonPrometheus. Prometheus orbits just inside Saturn’s F ring, acting as a shepherd moon to maintain the shape of the ring. This image was taken 23,000 miles from Prometheus, focusing on the side of the moon that faces away from Saturn. In the background is the narrow F ring.
Prometheus was discovered in Voyager 1 images in 1980. As seen in the above image, its surface contains many ridges, valleys, and craters. Prometheus has a high albedo, which means that it reflects most of the light that hits its surface. As a result, Prometheus is believed to be a very icy body.
