It was only for a short period of time, but what an wonderful feeling seeing our campaign name in lights in Times Square! For any of you who don’t follow Save Daredevil on Twitter orIG, we posted this fun little highlight of the contents of the massive package we sent out to the Disney offices after we wrapped our Dear Kevin Mayer initiative at the end of January and we want to share it here too!
That video shows a set of multiple bound and printed books that include 220,000 petition signatures (and it hit 250K by the time we had the package ready to mail out because the numbers kept growing as we were getting things organized!), another bound book of printed emailed letters from fans, and yet another folio of handwritten letters that came to our PO Box specifically for this writing initiative. It was 19lbs of fandom love inside one box!
Every day we’re reminded that this is a situation without precedent - the crappy part is not having a road map for where it ends. But even though it’s a long shot, we also know that stranger things have happened! And as long as hope exists, everyone on Team #SaveDaredevil will keep working on bringing Daredevil / Netflix Marvel fans together in a passionate and positive way in order to save this show. If hope is good enough for Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, then it’s good enough for us too :).
The invitation is always open to everyone to check out savedaredevil.com - from there you can sign the petition, or join in one of many initiatives we have going on right now. We have some awesome events planned for the months ahead, and we hope you’ll stick around to participate in some of those too!
We’re hosting a fun weekly event for the #FandomWithoutFear - rewatching through all seasons of Daredevil together every Sunday, 7-9pm ET!
If you’d like to join in the fun, our primary rewatch party will be happening on Twitter, with live tweets and dedicated posts for conversation with fellow fans. You’ll also be able to chat with other fans across our other official social media accounts if you wish. You can either watch your own copy of the episodes, or if you’ve already cancelled Netflix, hop onto the Rabb.it link we have set up for that awesome group watch experience! We’ll post the link on our Twitter shortly before we begin.

We are heartbroken to announce that the #SaveDaredevil campaign has lost one of our dearest friends this week. @dichotomystudios (also known as Van/nhlrox on Twitter) - a founding member of our team and a driving force behind our fight - passed away on Tuesday.
Van was a lifelong Daredevil fan and an absolute wealth of knowledge on comics in general, an ardent supporter of all creative arts, and a friend to many across the fandom. If you’ve interacted at all with the campaign on Twitter or via e-mail, you’ve probably chatted with Van.
Her presence on our team will be irreplaceable, and as her friends, we will continue to deeply feel her loss in so many little ways. And we know those of you who have followed us from the beginning will miss her too.
If you have any interest in doing something in Van’s honor today (or any day), we have some suggestions:
