Every time this post gets picked back up, there are always a few people who are skeptical of the numbers. In case you missed it, this infographic has the source included at the bottom of the image.
I’m sick of hearing “that can’t possibly be accurate”. I’ve checked the math. You can, too, because it comes straight from this 2013 study published in Marine Policy.
