Going feral over Kaidan’s “You make me feel human” line because this man was abused and ostracized as a kid due to his biotics, holding himself back and being embarrassed about being a biotic, because he thought people would give him the stink eye and he still feels remorse about accidentally killing Vyrhnus (I forgot how to spell his name). All that shebang with Rahna made him feel like a monster for years. Enter Shepard who made Kaidan realize that he doesn’t need to hide this part of his identity anymore and by ME3 he’s leading his own biotics division, learned how to Reave and became more comfortable with using his biotics, and overall more comfortable with himself as a person.
Just to add to today’s Kaidan brainrot:
It’s actually baffling that there were people who misinterpreted this line, thinking that Kaidan was making his and Shepard’s relationship all about himself when, in fact, he was pretty much thanking Shepard that they opened his eyes, made him step out of his shell and accept who he is. Because society has been pushing him aside and acting like he’s a freak. Kaidan’s arc is about accepting himself and finding a place in society that pushed and abused him for years. He was very subtle about it, because he didn’t want it to get to him, but the line “You make me feel human” cements the fact that he’s felt like a monster, an outcast until Shepard’s actions told him that “No, you’re so much more than that.”
