Blade Runner (1982)
Sean Young wanted the role of Catwoman in Batman Returns so badly that she had her own costume made. She appeared in it on the Joan Rivers Show in 1991.
Sean Young is one of those people who has a reputation for being “crazy” or “difficult” that is entirely undeserved and mostly unearned, and often due to the fact she stood up for herself in unfair situations - she was fired from Dick Tracy for rebuffing Warren Beatty’s advances, for instance. Sean Young was diagnosed bipolar, and I am sorry there was not more sympathy or understanding for this at the time. Perhaps this is because of my own experiences as an outsider, but one of my personal peeves is when people who are misunderstood are labeled “crazy.”

Blade Runner - 1982 Directed by Ridley Scott
This is the third Blade Runner poster illustration I’ve done over the past ten years or so. It’s definitely in my top five favourite films and was released on the year I was born!
Blade Runner and The Thing were released in the same year and were both considered flops at the time.
