Edit: Fixed the shading on Vangelis’s hand- I think this is one of the best foreshortened hands I’ve drawn in years so I’m not letting it go without good shading.

I was, I am, I am to come I was, I am, I am to come I was, I am [etc]
The words are the inversion of “who is, and who was, and who is to come” of the Revelation, attributed to God. Here, the Beast 666, turns this phrase into Ego, and tries to be born again, or to give birth to another Ego, or to “make love” to is own self and so on. Vicious circle. The percussion is by Vangelis, improvising together with Irene. In fact she started reccording “a capella” and Vangelis took some metal things and a shirt, and went in the studio. The whole recording (before cutting) of "infinite", was 39 minutes!

So after stumbling across this on youtube, I found a torrentso if you would like 6 hours of all the ambient sounds from Blade Runner and also a whole lot of dark chill ambient songs inspired by Vangelis, this is 5 CDs of 320 kbps goodness. It contains Vangelis’ complete original soundtrack with extended unreleased cuts, unreleased background audio from the film, and dozens of remixes that fit in with the soundtrack. Do not fret your replicant soul, this is an unofficial bootleg release that is not owned by anyone. From what I can tell this was released and bootlegged multiple times with more material added each time, ballooning to 5 CDs in 2007.

Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou (29 March 1943 – 17 May 2022),
Known professionally as Vangelis.
Vangelis was a Greek musician and composer of Electronic, Progressive, Ambient, Jazz and Orchestral music.
He was best known for his Academy Award-winning score to Chariot of Fire (1981), as well as for composing scores to the films Blade Runner (1982),Missing (1982),Antartica (1983),The Bounty (1984),1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), and Alexander (2004), and for the use of his music in the 1980 PBS documentary series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan.
Having had a career in music spanning over 50 years and having composed and performed more than 50 albums, Vangelis is considered to be one of the most important figures in the history of Electronic Music.
We will all remember your unique touch and your moving melodies forever.

Rest in peace to Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou, known professionally as Vangelis. The renowned musician and composer who will be remembered by Old School Sci Fi fans for his soundtrack for “Blade Runner” (1982) has passed away at the age of 79.

Vangelis’ soundtrack for Oliver Stone’s movie “Alexander”.
Just learned the death of Greek (film) composer Vangelis.
You already know that he scored “Chariots of Fire” (Hugh Hudson) and “Blade Runner” (Ridley Scott).
