!! @electrozeistyking brought to my attention that I accidentally misspelled “lonely” and legit never noticed. So this is a repost with the right spelling !!
What’s up everyone? A new full-time job and living on my own for the first time is kicking my butt. So progress for this comic is gonna be slow as heck but it IS happening!!
Chapter one is gonna follow Randy Cunningham, chapter two is planned for Danny, three for Jake, and four evened up hopefully. Forgive me, backgrounds are my kryptonite.

Got insanely busy with my new job and moving, so it took a hot sec to get this done. But I needed to finish this before I moved on with the rest of the comic.
Jake’s dragon form is a lot bigger then it appears in canon. He mainly walks on all fours and acts more animal like in general. His hair goes all the way down the back. His wings are red on top and yellow underneath.
Danny has a hood that I probably won’t be drawing up very often lol. His skin is blue and his ears are pointy. His thermos is always attached at his utility belt. Otherwise most of his outfit is the same.
Randy’s outfit is no longer just a basic jumpsuit, and is instead styled more like a traditionally ninja garment. I added some athletic tape to add a bit more color while also keeping a dark and muted look. I still have the bright red of the original outfit, and of course the #9 and long scarf.
Made this into three different pics so everyone can hopefully see everything alright. Jake’s dragon form was quit overpowering in the picture lol

Prologue Bonus
(start reading prologue here)
Something I got distracted with while working on chapter one. It’s the boys waking up the morning after their shared dream.
Jake is a heavy sleeper and loves layers. He has a feeling it was a vison and is contacting Fu to ask about it.
Randy just thinks it was a wacky vivid dream induced by some questionable week-old pizza he ate last night.
Danny is a light sleeper and has been awake the second the dream ended; Laying there in contemplation of his life and the dream.
(To clarify Randy is not naked, he simply doesn’t wear a shirt to bed. I have no intentions to sexualize these teens and I hope I never give off that impression)

Secret Trio - prologue page 8 (END)
*Rises the finished prologue to the sky*
I am so proud of myself for being able to complete this goal with minimal burn-out! Your guys’ interactions and support really helped me a lot! I’m so happy to be making new friends through this project! Please continue to interact it really helps me stay motivated!
To give you an idea for the future of the comic: the script for chapter one is totally finished so I can head straight into drawing. The down side though is that I have recently gotten a new job and moved because of it. Which is actually good news for me personally, but I obviously will have a lot less free time on my hands being employed. I hope it doesn’t completely take away my time to work on this project though because I really am passionate about it!
Anyways: So this is the last dream page, where as you can see, the dream has ended as we get a glimpse of a sleeping Randy Cunningham. When writing chapter one out, I actually wrote three different versions. One from each perspective of our Trio. I knew I didn’t want to be redundant and go through the beginning of the story with all three boys, so I picked the chapter that flowed the best; and that just so happened to be Randy’s. So he’ll be our main character in chapter 1, and I’ll actually be using panels woooo! See ya then!

The second part of the dream sequence! Only ONE more page left of the prologue!! YAY!! Then I can finally be done with these full-body pages I doomed myself with lol (for real, what was I thinking doing so many?) Much happier with how this dream page turned out opposed to the previous one. I think I learned a couple things while doing the last one.
In case you can’t read the font, it says: “Unite, warrior, spirit, beast”

I meant for this to be a side project as I worked on comic panels. But I recently got a new job and am in the process of moving, so this ended up being the only thing I had time to work on. (Fear not, I’m still working on the comic, it might just be a hot minute until I can fully focus on it again).
So yeah, these are my boys~ Although I will be sticking pretty close to canon best I can, I have made certain changes to both the boys and their worlds. So this is my personal version of them.
All the boys are a year older than their debut appearances. The story-lines of both seasons for Jake and Randy are canon; and I will be branching off from where they left off. For Danny, only the first two seasons are canon in my universe; with just a couple exceptions I’ll be taking from season three. Phantom Planet did not happen in my universe.
Jake is the shortest in my Trio, and will remain on the shorter side the rest of his life. In my universe, dragons cannot shift “perfectly” into human forms. They usually have small obvious signs of their dragon halves such as unusual eye color, pointy teeth, and pointed ears. Jake usually sports a sun decal and rocks a mohawk. Unlike his canon twin, my Jake can speak fluent Cantonese (Chinese).
Danny is in the middle height-wise, but still has a growth spurt coming. Danny gives off odd vibes to all around him; eyes semi glossed over, always dark bags under the eyes, and having skin so pale it seems “deathly”. He’s a nerd both for outer space and for motorcycles, usually wearing some Nasa merch and his biker jacket. With a goth girlfriend, it’s hard not to be influenced; liking to paint his nails black and wear dark colors. My Danny probably leans more on the emo side then goth.
Randy is the most un-changed in my universe. He’s very tall, but may be capping out soon. Both of his parents are workaholics and aren’t around much. Thus Randy has no one there to tell him “no” when it comes to ripping his jeans and cutting his own hair. Randy is vary lanky and odd looking, but will soon grow into his legs. Randy likes to wear a zipped up hoodie no matter the weather because it helps ease his anxiety. And his favorite number is 9, usually always sporting it in some way. Randy is trying to learn Japanese and martial arts.
I may add more to these little bios later if people would like to know more about them. I have LOTS of personal notes, but don’t want to take up too much space here lol.

First-Ninja cameo! I don’t plan on him to be in the story much, but I was disappointed how little he was used in season 2 of RC9GN, so I wanted to include him a bit. I feel like I should give him a more proper name than just “first-ninja” but I’m not sure what it should be. If you have suggestions, let me know!

Yes, I’m still working on this comic. Life just comes first. This page is chaotic and I don’t like it that much, but we got to keep trucking.

I can’t find a good picture of the general appearance of inside the Nomicon so I’m gonna have to draw it. There are so many Japanese characters in the background of every scene, why did do this to myself? T-T
