Mostly these exchanges, but also Trixie’s concern for Eli when he was blinded. Even though I 100% ship them, I’m kind of glad they never became a couple, and quite glad that they weren’t portrayed as the usual will-they-won’t-they couple. Their relationship as close friends / leader and second-in-command with cute banter and moments was best suited for the rhythm of the show.

Recognizing him at the duel and getting his attention by calling at him that he’s in her camera shot, knowing he’d recognize her. “It’ll be our little secret.” Eli’s shy “I owe you” and light flirting “unless, you’re interested”. “That’s cute - he thinks he’s competition”.
These and many other cute little getting-to-know-each-other moments!

#5: Hint of a Love Triangle

I mentioned in a previous post how I enjoy the idea of Billy having a crush on Trixie and being jealous of Eli for that in addition to Eli’s slinging skills / popularity, Trixie being disgusted by him and bluntly rejecting and/or mocking him, while Eli is annoyed by Billy but not jealous in the least because obviously Trixie would never have any interest in someone like that.
This episode was a perfect tease to that - not a take-over-the-story or in-your-face kind of plot, just enough to add some humor and cute indirect Elixie interactions - and then the viewer can take it however they like :)

A collection of interactions that emphasize their extra closeness: Trixie always by his side offering advice, working smoothly together, showing extra concern for each other, plus the little cake scene between them :)
I personally found these episodes had a different Elixie atmosphere to them, like there was a bit more of a potential for them to become more than friends in the future… if there would ever be any more episodes :(

I have some ideas planned out for a couple of simple fanart items involving two of my fav cartoons, Slugterra and Trolls - But before I make them for my Etsy shop, I was curious as to how many people would be potentially interested (I only ship to Canada or USA). There would be stickers and double-sided keychains, and maybe a shirt or two depending on the demand.
Any thoughts or questions?

*Edit 1: So I went ahead and added one Trolls item, Halloween-themed: a double-sided keychain, each side with a cute pumpkin ‘dressed up’ in a Branch or Poppy costume!
*Edit 2: Three more keychains have been posted on my Etsy shop - One of the Shane Gang and their main slugs, one of just Eli and Trixie, and a stylized heart representing the Broppy ship!

Compilation of my Trolls Crossover Fanart, edited / revamped!
1. Bridget and King Gristle as trolls! I would’ve loved to see an episode in TBGO where they somehow become trolls for a day, to see them properly hanging out with Poppy and Branch! I envision Poppy and Bridget having all kinds of girly fun, while the guys just chill nearby, and for some reason I could see Gristle struggling with how to work his new magic hair.
2. Miracu-trolls: Marinette, Adrien, Alya and Nino (much better than my original / first sloppy attempt)
3. How to Troll Your Dragon: Astrid and Hiccup
4. Troll-munks: Alvin, Simon, Theo, Britt, Jeanette, Eleanor

6. Troll-Trollhunters: Claire, Jim, Toby (still not 100% satisfied with J & T, something still seems off about their looks, but oh well)

Since Slugterra’s awesome characters will never become Pop Figures, I decided to design them myself! This was meant to be a quick insignificant concept sketch, but it was turning out much better than expected, so I went all out! (Except for the bodies, I really just wanted to portray the signature Funko Pop-face)

Wanted to draw a group picture for a long time now, but kept putting it off. Well here it finally is, my favourite characters from my favourite shows, organized by who I think would get along best.
Alvin would obviously rule the troublemakers / showoffs, but honestly he’d probably butt in everywhere.
I feel like Branch would also get along well with Dipper (especially since Poppy and Mabel would be busy scrapbooking together), but I couldn’t effectively get them side by side. Besides, Branch & Simon pretty much share the same sense of humour and caution / logic, so they’ll go together too.
Brittany and Sabrina would get along at times, but I feel like they could quarrel a lot too - Brittany and Marinette wouldn’t necessarily be close friends, but they both like fashion designing, so they could work together on that.
I don’t know why, but I’ve always envisioned Astrid and Eli acting like siblings, the big sister who always teases and shows up the little brother, while he thinks she’s cool but is also terrified of her, and she makes the most of that. But again, I couldn’t really get them near each other.
Junjie would pretty well be a loner, maybe hanging with Branch once in a while when he feels like being a loner too.
Eleanor would fit in almost anywhere, so she’s not with any particular group, and Theodore would likely tag along with her, or one of his brothers, but I’m sure he’d be welcomed into any of the other groups too.
