#shes my world

LIVE

“When we first met, it was an undeniable connection that formed between us. The emotions appeared familiar and foreign at the same time. She always held my attention, no matter how much time had passed by. And when she admitted to our mutual attraction, there was no way we would ever just be friends afterwards.

She found me at my worst. A dark cloud surrounded my life, immersing me into the endless rain—drained of any color. She was the rays of sunlight that broke through the clouds. She grabbed my hand and we ran; ran so damn far from those clouds. Since the beginning, her love has always been like the sun, warm and inviting.

Three and a half years later and all I can think about is how different my life is; in a good way. Her love, powerful and illuminating, is just as wonderful since the first day. Life wouldn’t be the same without her. I love her so much—with every bone in my body, with every pound of my heart and every breath in my lungs, I love her.”

“When connecting with a soul; someone to spend all of your time with, to love during the storms and the blue skies, to appreciate the warmth and the rain, that’s the most beautiful thing. Even during the downpour, there’s so much to be aware of. To wipe away the tears and speak the promises of sun shine yet to come, that’s when love takes over.

Giving your soul and heart to someone, with simple promises of the future, is to accept that the sun will not always be out. Sometimes it’ll be hidden under the gathering of clouds. But seeing them smile, that warmth, will be enough in the meantime. By appreciating the person who gives you endless clear skies, is treasuring their sometimes cloudy days. Love will always overcome rainfall.”
