I’ve been travelling around Mexico for the last couple of months & my journey also took me to my friends´ place in the mountains south of Mexico City.
While I was already blown away by the beauty of this magnificent country, visiting the home of my friends Carlos & Sofia made me fall in love head over heels with their home. So I just had to create a set inspired by their little house (casíta means little house in Spanish) - í was born.
I adore the charming style mix, bright colors and all the little details, creating a unique atmosphere, which is just so joyful and yet super cozy.
I mixed objects I found in their home (like the wood stove & the lamp) with some furniture created by young Mexican designers (like the armchair) and pieces I just liked. Plus there is a frame in honor of Frida Kahlo of course, who is one of my favorite painters.
As I experienced the Mexican culture as one close to nature and thus spiritualism, I also added a terracotta shrine. You can choose between some different types you can place on a surface and also some you can hang on the wall and fill with all the items you love.
I hope the spark leaps over and my collection inspires you to build and create a í for your Sims as well !!

Today I’d like to share a very extra with you guys !! It’s the story of little Mr.Smoky. I found him on a flea market, fell in love and just had to invite him to become part of the virtual world. And HE SAID YES ❤️
He’s a smoke dispenser, a typical little fellow you will most likely meet in every German granny’s home around Christmas. And now he can move in with you and your Sims as well ˚✧₊⁎( ˘ω˘ )⁎⁺˳✧༚ ⭐
The virtual transformation of Mr.Smoky took me around 10 hours - create the 3D model and texture on Photoshop, color swatches, load into the game etc. And yet, these are only some small steps in the entire development process of the ☬ ☬ .
Next to the creation of all items, there is the digital graphic content like post and other social media content but also product pictures, advertising images and graphic design for all the calendar doors, backgrounds and so on. Plus inspirational and creative processes, communication and txting …
