Done painting for now. Waiting for her to dry completely before I seal her again, and then I will add some gloss to her lips and fingertips.

Doing Apocrypha’s faceup with acrylic. I am comfortable with paint, and it is much easier to get the textures I want for her.

Omg my Shapeways order came today for my Muse of Bone. I took a shot in the dark that she was similar in foot and size to Pasha Pasha Mini girls, and it was a good shot!

The fit on the shoes isn’t perfect, but a little bit of silicone holds them on her feet, and come on. They’re perfect for her. Terrifyingly fragile, but perfect. They had to print the beautiful neck piece several times. I’m very scared of breaking it, lol.

And I did get her to stand unaided. Comes from my Monster High Doll posing days, lol, but scarier, because she is beautiful and fragile. Time to seal her head to start painting.

Apocrypha’s eyes came today from Canada! So fast. They’re perfect, I’m dying! I found my new favorite eye studio! Also included is a shot of her eye insert from Sideshow Collectibles, people were asking about it.

Court of the Dead Muse of Bone box opening!!!

I adore her. I can’t wait to paint her. She has probably the nicest bjd cushion I have ever seen, too. It’s hyper plush to keep her safe. Her head sculpt is to die for. The crown has so many little details.

She does have hand problems, though, as other muse owners have commented.

Ok TCW fans. For reasons I need to sell my Sideshow Collectibles 1/6th scale figures. I’ve got Commander Cody (Militaries of Star Wars, the old version), Commander Wolffe, and CT Echo and Fives. They are not new, have been on display in my home (no smoking, yes cats). The boxes have some slight wear, and all the original pieces are included with figure. The only flaw is with Wolffe. His shoulder antenna is fragile and I had to glue it back (pictures below). I’ve included prices, but may be able to negotiate. I’m putting it out here before I head to eBay. Send me a message if interested.
