Ectober day 23,24 condemned/nightmare

The girl waited silently in her room, she could hear monsters roaring and crawling in the hotel halls, she closed her eyes as she tried to not think about those things with no success…

The bugs crawling under her door constantly reminded her of her situation every two hours, she stomps on them or crushes them with her wooden stick.

With her heart pounding wildly on her chest she can only watch defenseless how more bugs she can’t control anymore go inside as she can hear a bigger monster getting near dragging some kind of big weapon, she silently prayed for this to end until…

An enormous butcher knife tore open the door making her scream as she backed away in her bed, then a muscular hand tried to find a way to open the door, now she just hugged her legs as she saw this scene, until…

A blinding light appeared…

When it was gone…, Insects were gone too, the door was back to normal, walls slowly recovering themselves and in the middle of the room… The black haired boy looking at her as his appearance gets back to normal with the spectral glow fading and his face back to an innocent but confused expression as it gets back his flesh and his blue eyes.

-what are you doing here?… -

He asked with an echo in his voice, not completely waiting for his recovery, the girl quickly took the cellphone she found and showed him the videos of the previous survivor Wes.

-What happened to him?, why is his cellphone here?…

The boy prepared a coffee for them both and handed her one cup

-he’s dead… -

He told her in a monotone tone.

-and the cellphone? -

Danny sighs as he sits down in a rusty box.

-I… Wanted to keep it…, this is my depatment you know?…, he was my last hope to get back home some day…-

She took some coffee.

-Why didn’t you just got inside when you were chasing me?… -

He shrugged.

-you were lucky, this is the only building in town my ghost form won’t touch until the nightmare is over… -

She got closer to him, he flinched.

-please… Don’t do that… -

He said gently, she backed away a little.

-sorry…, I just want…, need to know… Why would this… Transformation happens to you every time those sirens go off?…, or why would you turn back to normal when everything is over?…-

She asked, the boy just chuckled.

-Well… First of all… Let me tell you I’m really happy to see you alive after this, I had not the time to warn you…, I think you are the first one to make it through the nightmare!, well…, not really but you’re the youngest to make it, usually other survivors are men or women with heavy weaponry or people this place wants to be alive-

She smiles a little as she plays with her hands kind of nervous.

-um, thank you? -

He laughs a bit.

-and now you’re the first one to be flattered for what I’m saying…, anyways…, returning to your question…, um… -

He looks kind of worried and guilty as he looks down.

-this town… has a religion that worships an evil god…, when… My family came to this place the lured us into their church for safety, we thought they were good people…, as time passed by…, my parents and my sister got more and more involved in this religion with evidence of how they could create protection from what lurks around here, they killed some of the monsters….

My parents were completely fascinated with this ghost town…

But as their faith for them grew… They even agreed to make some rituals and for one of those… They… Used me as a… Vessel to bring an angel…, I don’t remember it’s name and I don’t care about it. Everything I know is that it made this to me…, the ritual was made when the nightmare was beginning in a forsaken building, it was painful as hell and… -

His expression now looks sad…

-when I could finally regain control… They were gone… -

The girl finally sat next to him, he finally didn’t flinch.

-and the worst part is… Every time I turn into that thing, I’m slowly turning into it for good… -

He pulled up his sleeves to show his hand are separated from his arms but still in their right position and he slightly took off his jacket to show how his body is translucent in some parts making his bones visible.

-I don’t know when it’s gonna happen, so… I just try to not think about it until the nightmare comes again…, I can’t go back home…, I don’t want to spread this to my home town…, my friends…-

He said as he looks away from her, after a couple of seconds she just smiles at him and holds his hand.

-well, let me tell you, you have a good heart to even think about everyone else despite everything, and you know… I trust you…, despite everything I trust you, you can tell maybe I have a death wish but you are still good despite everything, but maybe you should warn people you try to help about what happens at the… “Nightmare”-

She tried to comfort him, the boy laughed.

-what?… -

The girl asked confused at his reaction.

-You’re so… Naive, it physically hurts me!, I just told you I could kill you at your spot and you are trying to comfort me?!-

She nodded with a huge smile.

-you helped me first after all!, we can even be friends! -

His laughs grew louder.

-look I’m not your friend, I’m a dangerous monster and I can kill you if you are too close… -

His expression turns serious.

-I don’t want to hurt you but please… We can’t do this…-

He took the cellphone and put the last video where Wes is praying for his life.

-this is what happens when you get too close to me…, I’m a part of this place… And I’m as dangerous as the creatures around here…-

The girl suddenly interrupted.

-then why did you help me?!-

He falls silent, both looking at each other’s eyes until Danny broke the silence with an angry tone.

-because you’re too pathetic to survive…, maybe I just wanted to lure you to a place where you could not scape but had a change of heart in the last second…, but now… I just want you to go away, you’re too pathetic and defenseless to be a worthy prey… -

The girl got up at the edge of tears.

-but… But… Maybe… I… -

Danny got up as well.

-Don’t you hear me?!, I told you you’re just that to me… A prey to hunt…, and even you’re not fit for that role as well, get away from here, now!! -

The girl picked up the wooden stick and ran away from the room, leaving behind the boy trembling as he clenched his fist, counting backwards from 20 waiting for the girl to be at a safe distance to follow her.

Once his count went down to zero, he ran after her, not wanting her to get hurt he follows but not wanting her to get too involved… Ever again…

Dannymay day 3 and 4 college years/videotape

The girl has been walking around the ghost town for a long time, she´s just trying to find a shelter before nightfall.

Strangely enough, despite not knowing anything about combat, just having a wooden stick and being in the middle of a dense fog, she has not found a single monster or anything trying to hurt her…

Almost as if an angel is taking care of her…

She stopped at that thought…

Turned around…

And found that angel…

-Danny!-

She exclaimed as she saw him hitting a monster with a pipe…

-Just…, keep walking…-

She smiled as she got closer.

-I thought you didn´t want me near Mr. monster-

She said in a strangely happy tone for this situation.

-Don´t call me that…-

He left the corpse on the ground.

-Couldn´t bear the idea of someone totally defenseless walking around this town…, what are you looking for anyways?-

He asked, finally giving up in trying to be sneaky.

-I knew you were my friend!, well, I´m just trying to find my dad!-

He looked kinda worried

-Why would he come here?-

She shruged

-I don´t know, he just said he worked here, but now… I fear he´s involved into this stuff-

Danny pulled out a map from his pocket.

-Don´t give up that easily, maybe he´s hiding in the school-

He pointed it in the map.

-Some people from the outside hide there because… I can´t get in there too…-

He gave her the map, she took his arm.

-Please… don´t…, the school is just two buildings away, I´ll come to get you two out of there tomorrow, ok?-

She let go…

-You promise?-

He smiled…

-I promise…-

She got in there with great ease since the monsters looked like they respect the area, once she got through the door a tall man with silver hair and blue eyes appeared in front of her, she screamed.

-Don´t you worry miss, you´re safe here, welcome to my sanctuary…-

She knew this guy was trying to be kind, but… she had a bad feeling about this, something felt off unlike Danny despite dangerous at night this guy looked like if he was hiding something…

Time passed by…

She tried to look around for other survivors, she could find none, until… she found an old TV in a classroom that she accidentally turned on…


The video had two teenagers looking around the place, exploring until they found a symbol on the floor.

-I´m not sure about this Jack…-

Said the thin boy with a green, white and yellow shirt with a lab coat to his friend who was wearing an orange and black hazmat suit too.

-Come on V- man, just touch it and we can head out, ok?!-

The other one tried to complain, but his pleads went unheard as he accidentally step on it, the TV went static…, the sirens now going off, the girl went into the nearest closet, she could see the man getting in… he looked kinda sick…

Just like Danny before the last nightfall…

Ectober day 15 Curse

-I need to find someone…, have you seen a guy with brown hair and eyes, slightly higher than me?… -

A girl with brown eyes and long brown hair dressed up with black jeans, a purple shirt with a lamp on one hand and slightly covered up in dry blood asked to a teenager with black hair and blue eyes, with a white and red jacket and blue jeans.

-Hi, um nope, I don’t think so but maybe I can help you to look for him, but it needs to be before the nightmare, ok? -

She agreed but doesn’t knows what the heck is he talking about, she just arrived to this town

-When is the nightmare?… -

She finally asks

-You’ll know it when you see it-

The boy answers with a smile as he walks, not wanting to be alone in this nightmarish town she follows this guy but the radio she found some streets behind buzzed off as she got near him, kind of alarmed she keeps her distance, she’s only 13 and trust too easily in things that are slightly friendly, this guy is the first human she has seen and has been kind to her in this town, so she decided to blindly trust him…

They walked down town, going inside some buildings, her trust grew as the places previously surrounded by monsters were left empty as those things got away from the boy, for some moments she even dared to hug him so the monsters would not touch her.

He didn’t mind, he felt he was finally saving someone.

She was practically dependant on him at almost 100% of the time they spend together looking for this guy she was looking for.

Until…

A loud siren is heard all over the place, he pushed her away from him.

-what is happening?! -

She asked confused as both of them were in an abandoned bathroom.

-run, get away from me!, and don’t you try to look for me!-

He yelled at her as the walls were slowly peeling off, leaving behind rusty metal and a texture of dry blood.

She didn’t want to be left alone to face this place.

-Danny, please you have to come…-

She begs, they exchanged names a while ago, he looks gradually more frustrated.

-you have to go!, I don’t want to hurt you!-

She was about to ask why until she saw it…, she saw how he was going through the same as the walls but it looks slowed down… Like if he was trying to resist, anyway his skull was starting to be visible and his clothes were changing, one hand was turning into a claw.

-please… Just go…-

He pleads, she finally gets why her radio was buzzing around him…, she ran away as fast as she could, she could see a white aura coming from that bathroom, she was at her own now and maybe with another monster who is willing to kill her.
