on the left is lyta trevor/ fury. she is wearing a chest plate and knee high boots, and bracers on her fore arms. she also has a belt, and (as opposed to in comics) her head piece also functions as a mask and she’s wearing pants.

in the middle is hector hall/ silver scarab. he is wearing an outfit that is somewhat ‘tunic’ shaped (similar to his first one in canon) with bracers on his fore arms. he has a ‘cowl’ shaped mask, with the eyes covered with a darker color. as opposed to the comic, he has shin guards/ shin armor, and the shoulder pads/ armor is a little smaller on his torso.

on the right is norda cantrell/ northwind. he’s half human, half featharian (bird person), so he has a feathery mohawk and wing like feathers along his arms. his outfit has a large ‘N’ on the chest, and short sleeves and sandals. he is also wearing a dominio ish shaped mask, but with the sides flaring up and having a slight ‘feather’ aesthetic on them. as opposed to in the comic, he is wearing shorts.

this is the newest idea that lives in my head rent free :P which is: what if infinity inc, but as teenagers.

I actually really like the comic, so I’m not saying they should have been teenagers in canon, but I wanted to explore this idea though i probably won’t do much besides draw a few pictures, for reasons mentioned earlier.

design decisions:

I wanted them wearing masks, in case they need to protect their secret identities (I know they don’t in canon, but i wanted to see how this would work). If I did imagine them with secret identity shennanagins, I’d need to figure out how that’d work with Norda, since he’s half featharian.

because I wanted them wearing masks, i put ones on Norda and Hector that they used in the first plotline, and re did Lyta’s head piece to have a mask part. I’m not sure I like how Lyta’s looks, for some reason I think it looks too similar to Artemis’s (in YJ tv show).

Despite the fact that I changed their outfits, I don’t actually think the original ones were sexualized/ unfit for teenagers. (unless you’re a weirdo and draw every female super hero with a high cut thong when she doesn’t have pants). but I love tinkering, so I couldn’t help myself. This is also why I tied Lyta’s hair back in a braid. I was also hoping to get at least Hec’s looking SLIGHTLY less dated (since his originally has massive shoulder pads), even though I don’t think dated outfits are inherently bad, but I wanted to see if I  could.

anyway ^_^ Hope you enjoy my art. will hopefully post at least Al, Jennie, and Todd next, maybe brainwave junior, and also later on Beth, Yolanda, and Rick.

edit to add: I do feel like I want to make Lyta a little taller though. (since its more common for teenage girls to be closer to their adult height than teenage guys, and I imagine adult-her pretty tall)
