The kind of music I used to listen to while swimming in the river when the weather warmed up. My Dad would hook up the outdoor speakers and blast everything from the 50s to 70s while I putzed around singing Simon & Garunkel, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, and The Everly Brothers.
Last night on Jimmy Fallon, Black Simon and Garfunkel aka The Root’s Captain Kirk Douglas and Questlove covered The Weekend’s I Can’t Feel My Face. The surprise guest was ½ of their namesake Art Garfunkel who joined the duo and added sweet harmony even though this was probably his first time hearing of The Weeknd. Check it out HERE
