JA NO PLUMBBOBS - NEIGHBORHOOD ONLY EDIT
This is just an extract from the well-known ja-viera’s No Plumbbobs mod. The mod originally appears in two versions: the full version (hiding all plumbbobs and special indicators in the game: over the sims, pets, and lots in NH view), and Sims-only version (just a part that hiding only visible-on-lot indicators). You can found both in the @sims2packratre-hosted sfs folder.
I find the indicators above the sims’ heads useful, and prefer to hide them in other ways if I need it. But in neighborhood view special indicators (plumbbobs, simoleons, luggages etc) are pretty useless for my gameplay and inappropriate during the screenshoting. Well, I have separated the NH part of the mod to solve this.

I made my first trait mod! This mod stops the ‘Have X loves at once’, ‘Makeout with X different sims’ and ‘Woohoo with X different sims’ wants from rolling for sims who have the Hopeless Romantic Trait, regardless of aspiration.
I made this mod because I got a bit sick of every Romance Sim being a sleezebag, slimeball, whatever you want to call them! Sometimes, in cases like Romeo Monty, I think Romance Sims can be all about showing just one person how much they love them.
Requires the hopeless romantic trait and probably the easy inventory check.

I had a really hard time coming up with a name for this mod…and its still not great. Let me explain…
Do you ever get stuck in loading screens to a community lot longer than you think you should? Do you ever hear the lot being active, with sounds like music and other sims talking whilst you’re still looking at the loading screen? One time, I even got that little popup over the top of my loading screen to show me two sims were having a fight and my poor sims still hadn’t arrived yet!
It was getting to the point where I’d frequently lose hours of my sims time and their needs would have suffered because it took them so long to actually arrive at the community lot and my loading screen to disappear.
This mod fixes that, your sim will arrive at the community lot as soon as they are ready so your loading time will be as fast as possible. It does this by preventing the game from holding your sims back whilst the game spawns other visiting sims. So, now (unfortunately) your sims will always be the first to arrive, and other visiting sims will start to appear shortly after.
This isn’t the best for realism…it basically turns all your sims into Ke$ha, “now the party don’t start until I walk in…” but, it makes the most efficient use of your sims time and their needs won’t suffer so much when travelling to Community Lots.
For the longest time I thought this was caused by a mod, but I had no luck figuring out which one, then I saw someone ask @midgethetree this anonymous question, the answer to which made me realise that I could make this mod! Because I have limited modding knowledge, I followed up on this and asked for more advice here where Midge helped me even further. So a huge thanks to Midge, as this mod may have never been made without her.

Community Lot Normal Speed Arrival by dickhurt
It took some time, but the final update for Clean UI is now live! Check out the changes:
- Compatibility with TS3 style mood backgrounds
- Made earned skill/hobby/personality points more visible
-Price options in business panel are now easily clickable thanks to a new layout
- Removed pink background from the ‘learned couples counseling life skill’ memory
- Fixed misaligned bar in the reputation hover
- Removed blue background row color in the ‘Sims available as roommates’ window
Additionally, there’s one fix that was already included in a previous version, but I didn’t mention it in the changelist as I couldn’t verify if it works until now:
-Fixed blank buy outfit window if you’re using the widescreen buy/plan outfit package
If you use a widescreen CAS option and it has no effect, it’s probably not related to Clean UI. With the help of friendly simmers, it seems that it’s rather due to your graphics card, because CAS always resets to the two column mode that was created for low resolutions. Please try to use Graphic Rules Maker so your game can detect your graphics card or increase the resolution if possible.

- ‘Where would you like to go’ is now in Clean UI style, eg. the taxi cursor
- Included background image for the main menu if you don’t use a Clean UI loading screen (resolves black background issue)
Rewrote some mod features. Added an option to set if newly created characters will inherit genetic features from existing characters. Thanks to @lazyduchess for her Story Progression mod I stole some code from.
