A smallish collection of exterior walls for The Sims 2.
Includes newand weathered sidings, shingles and a brick wall texture you can mix and match. The colors were picked to compliment or be a neutral background for your door and window trim colors.

Well, after some tinkering I got my old Project-Files mostly working again :D
I have attached a replacment .dll File that should hopefully reenable the GUID-Connection in SimPE. Since I do not currently have the Sims installed I can’t really test this, but if you are willing to try simply extract the sims.guid.dll file and replace the one that was installed alongside your SimPe.exe (make a backup copy of the original file in case everything gets wrong )
I will try to get my release workflow working again. Once I do, I’ll be able to create installers and 7z files for the Homepage/SourceForge (which has the additional plus of having the update notification within SimPE working again).
Oh, and thanks for the offer of Hosting the Guid-db. We can talk about that once I am able to actually update the SimPE Releases. –Quaxi Mod The Sims
Update 1-25-2018 Good news! Julsfel (Fairy Forest) was successful contacting Quaxi (who maintains the GUID database). Quaxi fixed the website and will look into fixing SimPE as well.
Well, long time no see everyone :D As I said, I did not realize that SimPE is still in use!
The main site should be fixed now. Registering new accounts works again on both the german and english site. I don’t know if it works from SimPE too, but I plan to have a look. –Quaxi Mod The Sims

It’s been a little wonky for me this past week and now it’s down again with a new error message. I’ve been using a GUID generator I googled as a temporary fix but does anyone know if the database is still being maintained and will be back up?
I’m wondering if I need patience or if I should be coming up with an alternate solution?
ETA: For some reason I can’t reply to this post but this is the error I’m getting:

ETA 2: I can’t register an object inside SimPE or from the English version of the website but I can register an object in German. Link for anyone else who’s stuck: https://sims.ambertation.de/de/guiddb/
ETA 3: To clear up any confusion the link above is for a webpage you can use your SimPE logon to access your reserved blocks of GUIDs. It’s not a download. Fill in the object name and register it. You’ll get a GUID you can take and use in SimPE.
I made a bunch of floral wallpapers last year and these are the rejects. Sounds enticing right?
Some of them are perfectly lovely wallpapers, others are incredibly ugly but maybe you can use them? They’re all made properly - they tile, have descriptions, proper file names and all of that but I just don’t feel like putting together a proper upload for these - sorry about that!
Each of the 69 patterns comes in 8 wall types. Hopefully you can get a pretty good idea of what’s included from the swatches. The moldings match my Interior Wall Collection if that helps.
Here’s a few walls with a shadow to give the look of a sided house on a poured foundation. It’s cheaper to leave the foundation exposed and this is what a lot of the houses in my area look like – or as close as I could get it.

Someone mentioned wanting cactus-y hair for plantsims in desert hoods and I thought this would be perfect. This is meant to be used with hair, it floats slightly above the head.

A new skin set in 10 shades + defaults. These skins are a combination of some of my favourite skins for The Sims 2, using io’s bodies with new, “soft” faces and includes two new colours. I made them for my own game, they might not suit everyone’s style/standards.
The custom human skins are geneticized, choose between townified/non-townified. Alien skins are neither.
Once upon a time a fellow simmer noticed that the “Dreams Alight by Guildsmen Industries” lamp from Family Fun Stuff pack had no magic sparks. Answering the question about this ocassion, I concluded that the instance number of Effect list resource in the FFS SP core files clashes with the instance number of Effect list from TS Castaway Stories in Pescado’s cs-corefuncs.package. Well, neither fairytale styled lamp nor lots of animated CS conversions should lost their charm in our games! I have applied the unique (and unused) instance number for FFS SP effects list. So now it compatible with corefuncs.
