Uhh hi I’m back from hiatus I think. Fell back in love with the game again so I’ll be postin when I get the chance
is that my sim in rainbow?
Since I need to expand the presence of colors beside red and black in my wardrobe, I was inspired to test out some ideas on my simself and participate in @hufflepuff-sim‘s rainbow sim challenge. I feel like each look ended up reflecting a different aspect of my personality.
Damn… I really want that red and black sweater though…

Started updating my 60s simself and home, beginning with what I think my office would look like in that era. Decided to include my wee angel and fur-son Teddy this time, since he’s never too far away whenever I am at my desk.
The office kinda gives me a headache but in a good way. Gotta love those Axminster carpets.

Finally gave this a try thanks to the amazing @cinamun!!
This video was the easiest for me to follow that I have seen. It didn’t take me too long, but all the steps were time consuming. Will I try it again? Maybe.
I need to know about the settings and I don’t think I will ever remember all those steps.

The daunting task of redoing my CC folder, but trying to be cut throat….asking myself constantly “but do you need this???”. So far I’ve only downloaded skin and eye defaults, Kijiko’s lashes (cuz I can’t live without them!), some toddler hair, and a bbchild skin replacement….not too bad for one evening I must say!

My beautiful Marigold She is my Rosegold heir for the Chromatic Legacy Challenge. Thanks to a super kind human, I was gifted Snowy Escape for christmas! I can’t remember the last time I got something fun for christmas (as opposed to utilitarian) and so it was the highlight of my day, and I took my simfam off to spend the rest of winterfest in Japan!

My kid is states away with his dad this Christmas and it makes me v sad, so I am now playing winter/winterfest for the first time in-game, and I had us put a tree up together so I could send him pics just to be cute and to take some pics of of all of us in front of the tree to put on FB since we don’t have an xmas pic of all of us together at xmas, and well…
It didn’t go great…
BUT, if my bf and I ever want to make an action-comedy film with our sim-selves, we’ve already got some of the promo images now:
EDIT: btw the obvious drywall behind the tree is on purpose btw.. that’s how it really is in our house. Along with wood floors that were never finished and thus absorb every spill and stress me out and and…
Redid my historical simself/userpic. It’s more serious than i’d like, but eh. The smilier ones looked weird. Srs face is historically appropriate, at least?
And as I haven’t used CAS poses in months and months and didn’t remember any of them, i just literally clicked through every trait there was to see if it had attached poses/what those were. Which means there were also some outtakes. Such as these:

I didn’t notice til after I’d already uploaded the new profile pic everywhere.. and then had to go back and edit the hair darker and reupload, lol. Wow brane good job.)

Thinking about how much I think I look like Kim Goldbloom from Cottage Living made me realise that I haven’t updated my self sim in a year or two.
She’s a bit self-flattering, but I can’t get the rectangular-ness of my body quite right. This is, however, true to the fact that I only wear a select palette of black, white, orange, green or denim…
..Anyway, here she is, a thirty-year-old lady who still dresses like a student.
