DL: First of all, Happy New Year! I’m so glad we could finally sit down and chat like we’ve been trying to do for….4 months now? 5 months? Lol
SP: Happy New Year! I’m so ready for 2022. Hopefully it will be a gentler year to us all. And I know, right? It’s been months and so much has changed between then and now, but I’m happy we’re doing this to start the year. Good omens! Thanks for the invite by the way, I’m really humbled by it.

It’s done! It took me well over a month but the hidden gems series is finally completed. It was so much fun to put these reclists together and your incredible feedback kept me inspired at all times, THANK YOU! I loved sharing my love for these authors, and I hope you had the chance to explore and find new favorites. I’m already planning a second batch for July, stay tuned! :D
Happy May! This month marks this blog’s two-year anniversary and a very much appreciated follower milestone. I never imagined that small quarantine project would last this long, but I’m incredibly happy to be part of this community, and grateful for the special friends I made along the way. My mind usually goes blank when I try to think of ways to celebrate but I wanted to do something different from what I’ve done in the past so here’s an idea: why not give a shoutout to authors and fics that have been around for a while but I rarely see being recced? I noticed some of these writers aren’t on Tumblr so this is about helping fellow readers find hidden gems they may not find otherwise. I wasn’t able to write reviews for each fic but I’ve listed the main tropes, hopefully everyone will find something for their tastes. Happy readings!!
Such an underrated author! I love the light and soothing depth of their works, and how they combine humor, angst and deliciously hot smut into charming slice-of-life that feel both fresh and creative. And the werewolf fics are *chef’s kiss* for those who enjoy some found family goodness! Speaking of, An Act of Kindness is my all-time favorite flatmates romance, and one of the fics I reread the most. Enjoy!
As Draco leaned on the wall to wait for them to get dressed, he could not help feeling like he had done a very kind thing by disrupting them.
