And the giveaway! I have been saying I’ve wanted to do this for awhile now and never got around to it. Sorry e__e;;;
Anyway these two books have some imperfections so I don’t feel comfortable selling them. On the cover of the grey one I tried to do some embossing but the bookcloth was too porous so the design bled alot. D: Didn’t turn out as nice as I’d have liked. It was also the first time I had done a secret belgian binding so the stitches aren’t as straight as I’d like.
The second book has some glue marks on the inside (pictured) and I discovered that thick scrapbooking papers are not good for spine use. u__u Also the clear embossing stamps did not dry clear in the small window so there are marks left there as well.
Both books are still fully functional. Pages are 67lb and takes heavy duty mediums pretty well. Whenever I post ink/marker or even watercolor stuff from my sketchbook I am typically using this paper.
