The old ramen shop near Yukigayaotsuka where local workers would often have lunch. The building had seen its better days when I first saw it in 2006 or 2007, but the owner lived upstairs so like many of these old shops, it was also a home. I haven’t been there since covid began and I wonder if it is still around.

Owned by a lady who appears to be in her late eighties or older,. Judging by the fates of similar old houses with large gardens in Tokyo, its days are numbered.
