Hi everyone! I’m interested in starting an art collab! I’ve seen many of these put together for fandoms like One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, even Silly Symphonies characters! I’ve wanted to do one of my own for a while, but wanted to do one that was personal to me. One Piece was done and has a ton of characters, but then I remembered: the new Smash Bros. is coming out in a month! And everyone loves Smash, RIGHT? Well, a lot of people do. But anyway, here’s what I have in mind for this project:
I want to have each of the playable characters, past and present (INCLUDING people cut from current games, and alternate costumes that change them into another character), to reach for a Smash Ball (the thing you use your character’s finishing move with, for those that might not know) in the center, while the characters try to reach for or attack it from all directions.If you’re interested, reblog and claim a character! FOR SUBMISSIONS:
-The final piece will feature the Smash Ball in the center foreground, with each of the characters reaching for it from every angle in mid-air. -Please pick ONE character. -However, IF you have already completed and submitted a character already, you may pick a second. You may also do a third if you completed your second, but that will be your last entry. -Please send your submissions to [email protected] as either a transparent image, or preferably, a .PSD file without a background. —Due dates for submissions are on an individual basis. After delaying the overall due date several times and still not finishing the project, I’m not going to have a due date. Just send me an ask or an e-mail claiming a character and give me a general range of when you can complete the entry. -Send me an ask if you have any other questions or suggestions.

As you can probably tell, it’s well past the Christmas deadline I had set out, and I did not get as many submissions as I had hoped. This has led me to realize that prolonging a deadline once again would be a waste of time.
From now on, if you want to sign up for this project, you will be given a deadline. When you send me an ask or e-mail requesting a character, the deadline for your submission will be negotiated. You can either provide me a deadline that works for you, or I will reply back asking you what works for you. Once we’ve decided that deadline, you have until then to complete your submission. If something comes up and you won’t be able to finish it on time, PLEASE let me know BEFORE your deadline approaches.
Beyond that, all the previous rules for submission still apply and can be found on the original post. Send me an ask or e-mail me at [email protected] with any other questions.
Anyway, here’s another look at the current submissions to date:
Character placement, as always, is not final. This project will continue to accept submissions until all the character slots are full.
Third and final entry to my Super Smash Bros. collab, Wii Fit Trainer! She’s one of my experimental mains right now. I’m still figuring out how to use her in the game, but I’ve beaten some of my real competitive friends using her, so that’s a good sign!
I also forgot to mention in the last post that I’m trying out a new version of my old watermark. It’s probably not final, but I figured an update was well overdue.

Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been busy at a part-time job following coming home from school and spending the Thanksgiving holiday.
As you all know, I gave you all a final deadline of November 30th, the last day of that month. Those of you who could not complete their submissions in time would have their spots vacated, and instead of delaying this project further by giving more chances, I am vacating them effective immediately. Please understand I gave you all multiple chances for deadline extensions and even allowed opportunities for extensions if you contacted me personally with a good reason.
For everyone who’s submitted characters to me before this point, don’t worry. I’ve received your entries. Those of you who did a one or two characters already will have an opportunity to claim one more character, as I really want to get this project finished and posted before the end of the year.
If you were interested in the project before and the character you wanted was claimed, now might be your chance to grab them. But now your deadline is December 25th, Christmas Day. If by that point you fail to submit your entry without contacting me for an extension, you will lose that spot immediately.
