 So my little sister really ships Nick and Judy (as she should), and when we text she asks me to write little drabbles for her, and I thought I’d just put them up here, for feel’s sake. All Nick x Judy, all highschool au’s. Not really cleaned up or edited - I just pasted these from our chats. 

1. One time they were hanging at Judy’s house after school and they were teasing around and Nick tickled her and she was all happy and laughing and Nick had the sudden urge to kiss her because she looked so cute but then he felt weirded out by the thought and pushed her away while he blushed and said “You’re such a weirdo Carrots.” 

2. So after he starts liking Judy, Nick keeps finding excuses to be by her and hold her. Like he always offers to walk to class with her even they both know his class is in the opposite direction. Judy thinks he’s just being nice and that’s what Nick tells himself too. When he tells jokes he always nudges her or puts his hand on her back and tickles her until she laughs. His hand will stay there even after the joke is done. 

3.Ok so Nick is scrolling through his social media like he always does and he scrolls past this ad for a “does my crush like me back VERY ACCURATE?” quiz. He rolls his eyes and mutters something about what kinda sucker would take that quiz but wouldn’t you know it five minutes later he’s back on the page trying to decide how much Judy stares at him and how he would describe her body language around him. 

4.Nick and Judy go to the football game and they sit in the bleachers together. He gets her some cotton candy and teases her because it ‘looks like her lil cotton tail’ and he keeps calling her cute until she pushes him all mad even though she’s not really that mad because Nick is the only one who’s allowed to call her cute. As the game goes on it gets really cold and Nick lets Judy wear his jacket to stay warm. When they get touchdown Judy hops around and cheers and her popcorn (that Nick also got her) gets all over him. Then Nick has to grab her waist and pull her down to make her sit and stop hopping and then she falls onto his lap and he’s all blushing but Judy doesn’t even notice - she’s just like “NICK! Let go!!!!” and squirming around. Nick uses it as an excuse to cuddle her and he’s like “nope!” so then Judy uses her lil bunny thumping foot to thump him and gets away. They’re both blushing. 

5.So Nick starts to notice that Judy is really cute, like really cute, and sometimes he just starts staring at her and not really thinking about it and one time they were working together as chemistry partners and Nick was just staring at her and Judy was like “Nick can you pass the sodium hydroxide?” And Nick was just smiling and she was like “Nick????!!!” And he got all flustered and knocked the test tubes over. Another time he was staring and Judy caught him and was like “Nick?” and he mumbled all dreamily “You look pretty…” And she was like “Huh?” And he said “I said you look like a DUMMY” and ran off.

6.Judy gets a summer job working at the local farmers market and Nick comes by almost every day to visit her and snack on a couple blueberries. He always jokes around and makes cheesy flirty food jokes, just to see her reaction, like “you’re the APPLE of my eye” or “ORANGE you glad I came to see you?” or “Carrots, if you were a fruit you’d be a FINEAPPLE!” And Judy always laughs or rolls her eyes and a part of her knows he’s joking around but another tiny part wonders if he’s ever sincere. He is.

“JASOOOON!!!”

Jason groans, and manages to roll himself over as the weight on top of him adjusts from his back to his belly.

“Why are you calling me by my first name?” he asks the weight, frowning.

A mini Piper - he’s unsure his second daughter inherited any of his genes - stares back at him and shrugs her little shoulders.

“I dunno. That’s what mommy yells when she wants your attention.”

Jason laughs, big and loud, and reaches up to tickle his daughter for her troubles. Her giggle could cure ailments, he’s sure. It rings out alongside his own laugh and he’s not sure how he managed to bottle happiness like this.

“Jason! Blair! Breakfast is ready!”

Jason grins at the sound of his wife’s yelling voice. It’s so damn domestic that he can’t help it. He jumps off the bed, leaving it a mountain of duvet and pillows, and takes a sprinter’s stance.

“Race you,” he challenges Blair.   

She gasps and scrambles off the bed, already yelling that he has an advantage as she takes off through the door ahead of him. Jason laughs again, big bellied and loud, and takes off after her towards the kitchen.

He catches up to her at the threshold of the kitchen and scoops her up, blowing raspberries into her belly.

“Daaaaddyyy! Stooopppp!” She giggles through her protests and slaps his leg when he puts her back down.

Their oldest daughter is sitting at the breakfast table opposite her mom, sipping her orange juice and reading her book like she’s much older than eight. Kylie is his brainchild, Piper has always argued.

Jason kisses the top of her head and she mumbles, “Morning, dad.”

“Morning, Kyles.”

Piper raises her eyebrows over her coffee.

“Morning,” he says, walking over and kissing the top of her head.

“Morning, dear,” she says lightly. It used to be said sardonically but now he hears the familiar affection seem into the term of endearment. “You were dead to the world this morning. Everything alright?”

Happy Mother’s Day

I was working on the next fic in my Machine Convergence AU, when I suddenly realised that Mother’s Day was coming up, here in the UK. Since I have one of the best mothers in existence, I had to express my love for this amazing woman in the form of a fic (which she’ll never read, but it’s the thought that counts, right?). So, have some family fluff with my Frans family.

Also, Elys’s canon birthday is coming up soon, but since I already have something silly in mind for April Fool’s Day, this fic also serves as my little way of celebrating that.

Despite it being Sunday, both Elys and Arno were up with the sun. The two young children had a very important mission to do: today was Mother’s Day, and they were determined to prepare the best breakfast in the world for the best mother in the world. To that end, the two hybrids were in the kitchen, a simple crêpes recipe propped up to the side as a guideline, while their father sat by the counter, supervising his children as they gathered all the necessary ingredients, child-sized aprons covering their fronts and little chef’s hats plopped on top of their heads.
