Never let it be said that Boo Seungkwan was one to step down when something became the slightest bit challenging. Honestly speaking he was in humanities for a reason. He had never been good at mathematics or sports, always had a tendency of blowing things up in science class and didn’t know the first thing about any important historical figures from Korea. But Seungkwan lived under a very important saying: fake it ‘til you make it. And he most certainly had to do so, at least come next month when some people from his class had invited him for a bowling tournament and he had without even a moment of hesitation said yes despite his average in an alley rarely going above 70.
But there was still plenty of time to practice he had decided, ever the optimist, and he was definitely going to reach 100 today! As soon as his balls would stop hitting the gutter that was. Somehow it seemed like the guy next to him was giving him pitiful stares every once in a while, but surely that was just Seungkwan’s imagination! With a very impressive tossing posture probably rarely seen in the world of bowling, he sent another ball into the gutter and let out a defeated laugh. “Do you think they give out a consolation prize for worst score of the day maybe?” he asked, trying to catch the other guy’s attention.
“a prize?” he asks, head tilted to the side because that’s all he really catches from the entire sentence. did the stranger say something about the worst corn being sold at eight? lucas doesn’t know what that has to do with a prize, much less bowling, but he goes along with it. “who is giving prizes?” he’s pretty sure you pay the bowling alley and not vice versa, unless it’s somehow different in korea—he wouldn’t know. this is his first time bowling here.
lucas couldn’t help but watch the other boy earlier. it’s hard not to pay attention to someone who sucks as bad as him, especially with the loud noises that come from his lane when the ball lands roughly in the gutter. he feels kind of bad, having never seen such a poor bowler in his entire nineteen years of life.
he sidles up to the boy just as he’s about to toss the ball down the lane again. lucas isn’t sure how to explain what he wants to say in korean, so he opts to just show the boy with minimal words. lucas adjusts the position of his fingers, then steps aside to show him the proper posture and follow up with a confident (empty) swing of his own arm. “closer to the ground. throw from there. keep your arm up after you throw, too. and relax a little. try it now.”
Nis was….essentially trying to find some way, any way to avoid taking out her frustrations in a destructive manner.
So she wandered the land in search of something to distract herself.
Everything had gone wrong lately… With the Stormcatcher, her Sibling (The Shade) and several of her other ‘children.’ Between that and the various losses and failures she’s experienced in other universes lately Nis has grown….. weary, to say the least.
That is very much an understatement.
Is there anyone around whom she might find companionship with?

Greetings, my name is Miki and I’m the Matriarch of the clan of Mikiwing, I run it with my mate Shadowing.
I might have a derg you can talk to, we send all of our newbies to her to make them more comfortable in a new clan.
She also is a mediator when fights happen, as they do in any clan.
*She scans the area they’re in and spies the pink Coatl walking to the lair.
She has a few dergs following her, some in the back looking a bit nervous/sad.
The ones closest to her looking a bit more relaxed to fully relaxed.

Harmony dear, would you mind coming over here, if you’re not busy, there’s someone I would like you to meet.
*Her and her wolf walk up to the two dragons, she offers her tail in a sort of handshake- like gesture to the Fae.
She smells like lavender, fresh cut roses, and sun ripened strawberries*
(Covid doesn’t have to exist in FR, but it’s alright if Nis doesn’t want to shake, getting sick still prolly stinks even for a being such as herself!)
Nis was very surprised to be greeted by Miki, listening closely and then seeing the other Coatl.
Watching her she observed everything, the sweet scents of flowers and strawberries getting her attention when she was close enough.
Hmm, she’s curious about some things already.
“Th- Thank you…my name is Nis. It’s nice to meet you.” She said shyly. When they offered their tail she shook it like a hand.
((all about Covid not being a thing lol. But *hugs* thank you…))
*Harmony takes her tail back*

Nis here has had a lot going on in her life and just needs to relax a little bit, I trust you can do that for her, or at the very least try to assuage some of the stress she has accumulated.
*Harmony puts right paw across her chest and bows at Miki*

*Miki looks satisfied and nods her head at Harmony, giving a sweet smile to Nis before realising the sun’s position in the sky*

*She bidds farewell to the two dragoneses, quickly taking off to the lair
Harmony watches her go and turns to Nis*
Now how to help you, have you tried talking to someone and just venting?
Nis nodded and bowed in turn, “Thank you Miki…” Then she turned to Harmony, looking a bit nervous and confused.
“Uhhh- I haven’t really talked about things much…no.”
