i heard about it in the midst of making prints for my artist alley table so naturally i had to dedicate a couple pieces to it since its one of my very favorite games!

Stanley parable fanfic writers are so good holy shit. I shouldn’t be surprised, when the main speaking charicter is the narrator and he’s, well you know. But oh my god these stories make me feel somthing with such a higher success rate than any other fandom I’ve been apart of.
The TSP or TSPUD fandom has such an apparent duality, it’s beautiful. On one side, you got the ones having an existential crisis, the ones observing and analyzing the overarching and complex narrative of the game, and on the other, you got “hehe Stanley fucked the bucket n the Narrator is jealous”
The Marie Parable is a game demo - a five week school project from last year.
The assignment was to come up with an already existing game and make our own version of it. Our team chose The Stanley Parable!
The goal was to capture the feeling of the original game but make our own world, levels, story and endings. So instead of an office, we made a hospital etc. The basic idea is that once Marie starts to walk along the corridors, she notices the building is devoid of people. A mystery.
I was the only artist in a team of three >> I was in charge of all of the visuals: concepts, 3D models, materials, lighting, level design and UI. I got to do a lot of world building together with the narrative lead - and after that arrange everything together in Unity. Because of the huge map size, we chose to go with low poly visual style :)
