When Scarlett was invited to spend the Holidays in Stepford, she thought it would be a nice change of pace from the superficial bustle of Hollywood… But she thought it might be difficult for her to fit in… However, that burden was quickly lifted from her mind as she finds it quite easy to be proper, demure and ladylike when she is embraced by the Stepford Community…!
“Well, you’re certainly welcome to come stay with me in Stepford…In fact, I think it will do you some good…” Her dear Auntie’s invitation was a welcome one after that unfortunate Spring Break incident led to her expulsion from University. Everyone in Stepford is so friendly and welcoming and life here is calm and peaceful. And Proper. She finds the gentle but firm pressure to fit in stifling at first but eventually she Understands that being a Young Lady in the Community that all can be proud of is the correct path for her. Even while spending a quiet Sunday afternoon at home she finds that hoodies and sweatpants are simply not acceptable and she must be Proper, Feminine and demure which is simply what all Young Ladies strive to be.
she understood now, why the Uniform is so important. why they insist on it and insist on everything to be proper and perfect, even down to the hosiery, heels and Bun on her head.
