Really? Move to Stepford? Gee, I don’t know…
Um, yeah…i was wearing my business suit when I left for the interview…but this outfit seems more appropriate and more fun…and I got the job!! They say I’m gonna fit right in at work with everyone… What am I gonna do? um…not sure really…
Um…this building has a gym, right…? Yeah our company fitness program…gotta stay in shape… Oh you will? that’s so nice of you…
No, the Lady at the Boutique said it’s definitely a swimsuit; it’s the latest style! I think it’s really sexy and I’m gonna wear it. I’ve already got a lot of compliments…
What? Oh…yes…’m having a great time..Sleepy? Now that you mention it…I could just …drift …off…
Everything is as it should be… Exercise class three days a week. Visits to the Salon. Wearing the Pearlyhose with every outfit. Meetings of the Women’s Club. Shopping. Taking care of the Home and Family. The special Spa treatments. Being a happy, helpful member of the Community. Not questioning. Getting along with others. Being Obedient. Watching the Videos. Minding your Manners. Dressing Appropriately at all times. Keeping a pleasant demeanor.
Yes everything is Perfect.
And always will be…

Hair perfectly pulled back into tight Buns, Barbara and Sara emerged from the Salon and Boutique ready for the event. They will attend tonight’s ball, they will fit in to the community. Already their previous lives have faded into a distant memory. They will remain poised and proper, elegant and polite.

Yes. As they left the Salon and Boutique they understood. It is all very simple. For a harmonious and happy community, everyone must cooperate. Everyone must obey. Yes. very simple. They understand. They will obey. And they will spread the message. All their friends will obey. Their husbands will obey. Their children will obey.

Ever since she and her husband moved into town, Mariko felt something was just a bit strange. Everyone was pleasant and friendly…perhaps a bit too friendly. She had made a lot of new friends and they all seemed to want to constantly give her advice…
“Proper ladies always dress appropriately…
Proper ladies always have dinner ready on time…
Proper ladies always are neat and tidy
Proper ladies always visit the Salon…”
And so forth.
Mariko has always considered herself a free spirit, and yet she wanted to fit in with everyone else and the advice the ladies gave her well, it makes sense..

Sophia paused in the backyard of her ‘Aunt’s’ house. Why did she have to live with her stuffy old aunt? Sophia was over 21, she should be able to make her own decisions. Besides, they weren’t even family really. But in order to get the inheritance, Sophia had to Move to Stepford, and live with the old lady and all her rules. Etiquette lessons. Going to the Salon. and those boring preppy clothes. Right down to having to wear heels, and old-lady pantyhose. God, Sophia hated the stuff, so itchy and uncomfortable.
So Sophia put it off as long as she could. But she had to change in order to go inside the house and make an appearance. So she hid behind the garage and changed. Off went the cutoffs and tshirt and on went the matching bra-and-panty set. Then the dreaded pantyhose. Sophia opened the packet of Pearlyhose and pulled out…something she was not expecting….
Soft and silky the Pearlyhose easily glided up her legs and settled smoothly and perfectly on her body. they were anything but uncomfortable, in fact they felt really nice and tingles spread from her toes all the way up… In fact Sophia felt quite distracted at how tingly and Pleasant the Pearlyhose felt on her…and found herself enjoying it more and more…
Dazed, Sophia finally realized that someone was calling her…
She had to hurry now, mustn’t keep Dear Auntie waiting…!

it wasn’t enough to visit the Salon and get her hair put Up
it wasn’t enough to go to the Boutique and get the proper attire, Hose and heels
the Ladies feel she needs some further lessons to instill discipline and make sure she realizes she needs to fit in and be a cooperative member of the Community
it’s for her own good, after all…
