hi tumblr, i’m sorry that i haven’t been around lately. I’ve got a couple posts lined up soon but i thought it was important to be honest about why i’ve been taking a step back.
life is hard, keeping up is hard, things get hard. we’re all friends here and we don’t have to put up the facade that everything is perfect. it’s not.
quarantine and social distancing has been hard on me, it’s been so hard to go to school online - and while i’m greatful for everything and for being healthy and safe, i’m also allowed to be sad.
which is why i want to extend this same spirit to you guys, and give you the opportunity to message me, slide into my asks, comment, just tell me how you are, no judgement. we all need to support and listen to each other <3
it’s okay not to be a perfect productivity machine.
01/21/2020 Fully in love with today’s vibes! Here are some notes from my Classical Antiquity and Sustainability class, because I have been enjoying it so much. My professor completely fits the classics / ancient history professor stereotypes and it is so cute, he makes the class so interesting!

Please read! Here’s a casual, unedited studyblr picture as reminder that you don’t have to take perfect, overedited pictures with the fanciest stationary to post on this site. (hypocrite alert- I am totally guilty of this but I’m trying to change that!) I have been inactive on this blog for the longest time because all the pictures I took turned out “imperfect,” but after a hot shower revelation, I realized that this way of thinking is dumb as fuck. In fact, I call myself a study blog but I haven’t even posted since I started college?? wtf? Remember, if you are happy with your content, then that is good enough! I’m going to try and post more now because at the end of the day, I am a busy student and not a professional photographer.
