Today didn’t start off great - I was really tired after a bad night’s sleep - but it got better as the day went on. Booked my flights to see a friend abroad, went on a short walk, did a meditation session and had a mini nap, then I was right back at it, and ended up having a really productive end of afternoon / evening! So a reminder that you can restart your day at any point (also watch the Netflix meditation series by headspace).
As we mark 100 days since the the revolution in Russia, I have managed to cram a ton of Latin vocabulary into my head and have a perfect score on today’s test…
why does my paleography homework always end up looking like a colouring book? :D I talked to one of my professors about possible topics for my bachelor thesis yesterday, so I am super excited and trying to figure out what I’ll wanna focus on :)

Reading on, enjoying the weather and cleaning out my pencil stash. I used these up in the last semester (Feb-June), before I started writing with a fountain pen…
when library evenings get long… and the weather complicates cycling to work. But it’s a national holiday tomorrow so I do not have to work, yay, I can get to reading assigned literature :)

Turns out working while studying is actually a good idea for me. At least my head feels less like it’s gonna explode with worries after two days at work. I spent the entire weekend reading as well, so I have managed to make some progress with the first book. Here’s to the second week of the academic year =)

re-writing notes, reading and taking notes… I decided to still work Friday and Saturday and it is not easy to do both work and school, but it keeps my school-related stress at bay so there’s that :)
