Very sad that my SNES broke.  I’ve tried cleaning everything and all I get is a black screen when switching it on. Anyone know how to fix it? :/

TerraBranfordfromFinal Fantasy VI(originallyFinal Fantasy III in America), released by Square Co. of Japan in October, 1994.

I was very inspired by Yoshitaka Amano when I was a kid, though it may not seem like it today. The baroque flourishes of detail were always very captivating.

If you’d like to buy a print of this drawing, or some of my other Play American stuff, I now have an Etsy shop.

I have never played this game before but someone at GaymerX asked me to draw him so I did. I actually get a lot of requests for this guy.

DragonBall games always confused the hell out of me whenever I have to find them. I think there are about 8 DBZ titles for Super Famicom. I forget which was rarest or best.

Pulled out one of my less-common SNES games - Ranma ½ Hard Battle! As a fighter it’s pretty basic; there’s only four inputs (light and heavy attacks, jump, and block) and most special moves are just direction+attack ala Smash Bros, though many can be charged. But it’s pretty amazing that the game came out in the US in recognizable form at all, given its predecessor was localized into oblivion as the completely forgettable “Street Combat”. Heck, even the Westernized cover art for this one isn’t bad at all compared to a lot of re-drawn atrocities we got back in the days before anime style really entered the US market big-time.
