Redesigned Shem-Mom for this AU specifically and gave her more Miku-related elements. I liked that Shem-Miku headgear in canon so I just had to apply it to Shem-Mom LMAO because that headgear is particularly taken from Mesopotamian mythology (this is similar to what gods wear), and since Shem-Mom’s literally God in the AU, I thought she deserved a crown at least /lh

They’re all bodyguards for Carol and Elfnein, though Micha and Garie do more handmaid / house work for them. Leiur is Elfnein’s personal bodyguard and Phara is Carol’s.
LMAO Shem-Ha was actually their wedding officiate jskdfsdjkf but Shem-Ha didn’t even seem to care who Enki would marry sjdlffj But Shem-Ha and Fine (and her twin Ryoko) are very good friends in the AU
as for the Zababies, I still hadn’t colored some sketches to reveal their relationships with others but Kirika is Hibiki’s cousin in here
Shirabe is Ryoko’s daughter from an asshole she already divorced, and Chris is her adopted daughter ldkfjf

where Miku is Shem-Ha’s divine / demigod daughter born from a human mother JSDFKJSDF how that is possible, well, Shem-Ha does lesbian magic and poof comes a daughter, aNYWAY-
Shem-Ha parenting shenanigans ensue because she has 0 idea what parenting is, let alone human parenting, and also she was stupid enough to leave Miku for a few years because of some tragic event-
in the beginning of this story Shem-Ha is basically “retiring” from being God and decided that she’ll spend her time with her daughter, except her daughter is now filled with teenage angst and she doesn’t even understand what adolescence is LMAO
I made her freaking tall because Shem-Ha deserves tall (also that’s her human disguise)
But sprinkled with love Miku’s rice Hibiki’s face Always Always I really, really, really love it…!
Itsuka no Niji is so fucking gay and I almost cried discovering it was a Hibimiku duet (coz I never listened to the OVA ending until I finished Symphogear lmao) so naturally I had to push out these gay feelings /lh

I know we in the Hibiki x Miku camp love to obsess over how deeply Miku cares for Hibiki, but can we just appreciate this moment from AXZ Episode 5 where we get to see Hibiki equally overwhelmed by just how goddamn much she loves this girl? Like, holy shit, you can seehow much she just wants to dissolve into Miku’s arms and never leave. And considering how spirited and intense she usually is, seeing her in this moment of overwhelming softness is just… aaaaaaaaah god, my heart.

Miku and Shirabe set out to spy on the secret of Tsubasa’s strength. Discovered en route, Tsubasa finds out their plans, and she has the two engage in some sword-drawing practice.
Tsubasa:Haa-!
Tsubasa: You devilish works of man - my Ame-no-Habakiri shall reduce you all to rust! Haa!
Kirika: We did it! They’re pretty much all taken out.
Tsubasa: It would seem so. I’ll establish contact with headquarters.
Tsubasa: Confirming all Alca-Noise eliminated. I think we’ve incurred a slight amount of damage. We’ll continue investigating the area a little more later…
Shirabe:*stare*…
Kirika: Shirabe, what’s up?
Shirabe: Tsubasa-san really doesn’t waste a single motion, does she?
Kirika: You can’t deny it - that’s a sentinel for you.

Tsubasa: You’re wondering what the secret is…?
Tsubasa: What’s the matter, you two? We’ve barely begun; I think your shoulders should be gradually acclimating.
Tsubasa: I swear. If you wanted to train alongside me, you could’ve said so. I’ll never turn you away.
Shirabe: I would’ve been fine… just observing, though…
Tsubasa: If you actually want to shift your body, those lessons won’t be learned on the battlefield.
Miku: Why did I get pulled into this…?
Tsubasa: In order to undergo training, one must have a practice partner.
Shirabe: It’s so… heavy…
Miku: Practice aside, I’ve swung this sword around too much…
Shirabe: I’m gonna collapse…
Shirabe: Well, if I had my Gear, I could withstand…
Tsubasa: That being the case, there’s yet more; growing accustomed to that heaviness is paramount. Eventually you’ll reach the point that you don’t feel the sword’s weight, and you become one with the blade.
Tsubasa: Alright, now keep that sword aimed at your eye for thirty minutes more!
Miku: Isn’t that too long!?
Tsubasa: Will you have the luxury of lowering your sword when there are people to protect on the battlefield? Protecting until your last breath, eyes flashing, at any time - that is the essence of a sentinel.
Shirabe: What the heck even is a sentinel…
Tsubasa: Naturally, the spirit of attempting to be the sword that safeguards humanity.
Tsubasa: Once you’re done, you should be able to make those movements easily one hundred times. After that… heh, perhaps we’ll have a practice match.
Shirabe: That might break me!
Miku: That’s really gonna break me…
Tsubasa: Huh? This is what the start of my training consisted of back when I was a child. You’ll get used to it quickly.
Shirabe: There’s no doubt the same blood runs through the commander’s and Tsubasa’s veins…
Miku:Definitely…
Shirabe: Tsubasa-san’s very existence… is strong.
Miku: I’m thinking that, too.
Tsubasa: A little learning is a dangerous thing. Wasteful talk is a hazard.
Miku: Y-yes ma'am.
Shirabe: Kiri-chan, I’m sorry… there wasn’t any secret at all…
To quote from another series that’s come to a close this year, “Once again, we return.” I’ve been busy but I’ll try to get a few more of these out to keep Symphogear content happening.

Symphogear XV really just made every single transformation among the best transformations in any magical girl show and still felt the need to go even further above and beyond with Tsubasa’s.
