International Carats is back again with another birthday project! This time for SEVENTEEN The8′s 20th birthday. This birthday project and support will include:
WWF Adopt a Panda: We decided to adopt a panda under The8′s name because for one, they both have the same hometown- China. Also, they have another thing in common- their love for hugging and cuddling. Thus, like the fox under Wonwoo’s name, tiger under Hoshi’s name, and giraffe under Jeonghan’s name, we will be adopting a cute giant panda under The8′s name.
Adidas Tracksuit Set: The8 loves performing martial arts and also b-boying. That is why we will be getting him a tracksuit set from Adidas so he can comfortably dance in style.
Winter Essentials: It’s currently getting colder in Korea, so we will be getting him gloves, scarves, and warm socks to keep him warm throughout fall and upcoming winter.
Other Gifts: We’ll be getting him more clothes to get through the winter months, and maybe even a pair of new sneakers to match his tracksuit. We all know that The8 deserves to be pampered.

International Carats will be hosting another birthday project, this time for SEVENTEEN Jeonghan’s 22nd birthday. This birthday project and support will include:
A cake designed for our Angel Jeonghan:We will be delivering a cake to Pledis for Jeonghan’s birthday. The design will be revealed at a later date.
Befriend Market’s “Be An Angel” water bottle package: In anticipation of Jeonghan’s solo debut “Thirst” in 2023 (Please refer to Seventeen’s 160827 VApp broadcast for the joke), we will be purchasing Jeonghan the “BConnect Summer Package” which includes a water bottle, dust bag for the bottle, and a bracelet. A part of the proceeds from this set goes to well building and clean water distribution efforts in Tanzania and the donation will be made under Jeonghan’s name. Our angel Jeonghan can drink from this stylish bottle AND help children in Tanzania quench their thirst as well. (See the product information here)
WWF Adopt-a-Giraffe:Since Jeonghan has been fond ofdoing giraffe impersonations lately, we will be adopting a giraffe under Jeonghan’s name via the World Wildlife Fund. With this adoption, Jeonghan will receive a giraffe plushie, official adoption certificate, and a species card from WWF. More information about the program can be viewed here
Other gifts:We will also be purchasing a giraffe neck pillow so that Jeonghan can be comfortable during all of Seventeen’s jet-setting adventures. We will also be purchasing a duvet set so that he can enjoy lying down and sleeping warmly in the upcoming winter weather in Korea. These items will be purchased through Gmarket.

Donación al Centro de Bienestar para Niños en Daegu: Considerando que S.Coups es el líder y figura paterna de Seventeen, nos gustaría donar a una causa relacionada con niños. Y como Daegu es su hogar natal, hemos decidido donar al Centro de Bienestar para Niños en Daegu. El Centro de Bienestar para Niños en Daegu tiene programas para niños de Daegu que no tienen un guardián/representante legal que pueda cuidar completamente de las necesidades de un niño. Tienen un programa para niños sin guardián/representante legal que son temporalmente alejados de sus guardianes/representantes legales. El centro también provee un canal de casas temporales o permanentes por medio de adopción hacia estos niños.

Entonces quisiéramos darle un cuaderno Moleskine con “세븐틴의 리더 S.Coups” (S.Coups Líder de SEVENTEEN) grabado en la cubierta para mostrar que el cuaderno fue personalizado para él y mostrar aprecio hacia su arduo trabajo como líder. SEVENTEEN will be holding a concert in Seoul, South Korea on July 30th and 31st. The “Like Seventeen: Shining Diamond” concert in Seoul will also mark the start of their 2016 Asia Pacific Tour. To commemorate this occasion and show Seventeen the support of international fans, International Carats is planning to send a rice wreath to the concert venue like we did for the Boys Wish Encore Concert back in February [x].
So we will be opening up donations for this rice wreath project. For now, our goal is to send them a 50kg rice wreath, which costs 300,000 KRW (277 USD). If donations exceed this initial goal, we will add more bags of rice accordingly (an extra 10kg of rice costs 30,000 KRW/28 USD). The donation deadline for this project is July 27th, 12am KST.

Messages in a Jar: Similar to our “Messages in a Bottle” project for Wonwoo’s birthday, we’re going to collect encouraging messages for Woozi so that he can read them when he is in a slump.
