Still as beautiful as when I first saw it and I finally got to take a a shot of the entrance without the temple girls and cleaning guy haha!
Unfortunately, there’s no exhibit anymore like last time so I just got myself some Chihayafuru Hyakunin Isshu cookies. I don’t remember if I took pics of the cookies. They looked cute but the taste is just like a typical cookie.

I’m happy to officially announce the Taichihaya Week 2022 prompts! We wanted to give everyone a few months to work on their content, so here are the prompts (prompts are not obligatory, but are just a guide if you choose to use them–feel free to do whatever you like for each day):
2 April - Birthdays 3 April - First meeting/becoming friends 4 April - Four seasons 5 April - Poem 48 (“My own efforts in vain/Waves against the rocks”)/poems 6 April - Taichihaya from an outsider’s POV 7 April - Soulmates 8 April - “There was only one bed” 9 April - “I have loved you for so long, I don’t know how to love anybody else”
I just love these little things, like Taichi turning to see what’s wrong. Nothing was said, Chihaya didn’t utter a word. He just knew something had happened.
The controversial kiss scene. Personally, I love it, & this moment specifically, where Taichi’s hands tremble, then relax, and slowly let Chihaya go. So much emotion, tension.

Her eyes here, it’s like she’s realizing that there’s more to Taichi than just the boy she’s grown up with. He’s not just the boy next door, if you will.
The way she pauses here and brings her hand to her chest, squeezing her fist…it’s evident something is going on in her mind right now.
As Taichihaya Week 2022 comes to a close, I want to say thank you to the team who helped me put this together, and thank you to everyone who contributed by posting fanfic, art, gifs, videos, analyses, headcanons, & everything else. Thank you all for making this a great event! ❤️
