You are Hugo Gilchrist, and today is the best day ever. Since last Tuesday, anyway. You have just returned home from a “business trip” which was not in any way shady and you defy anyone to prove otherwise. You want to say you also defy them to drown in a mine, but that wouldn’t make much sense and making sense is one of your favourite hobbies, second only to cackling silently.
Sadly neither of these hobbies are much use for your job as the president of the Oberon Corperation - a wholesome company that supplies the world with drugs and various other suspicious items. It has been predicted that Oberon Corp. will have completely taken over the market for everything within the next couple of years. …You might have a mild case of megalomania. Maybe.

But tonight, none of that matters. It is time for a party.

It was a nice change being away from Darilsheid, you guess. Being on the road meant you got to spend slightly less time dealing with fangirls and more time doing your damn job.
You say “slightly” because apparently being a sixteen year old knight makes you a hot piece of ass even in the eyes of residents of neighbouring countries. Your talking sword, Chaltier, says you should be flattered, but the jealous tone with which he says this is slightly too disturbing for his opinion to be valid. People are stupid and you want nothing to do with them.

Speaking of people, though, the streets are abnormally quiet today. Usually the streets would be bustling with citizens, travellers, mechants and the occasional cosplayer. If Darilsheid is this deserted, it can only mean one thing.

eyyy i almost forgot to post this!!  i did a secret santa exchange with a group of friends back in december, and ended up doin this for @jeredu!!  we actually became friends through bonding about tales of destiny so i decided to draw these dumb kids… it’s been a while but i still love ‘em!!
