Tales of Phantasia dump!! my first ever tales game - I’ve been going through my JRPG list slowly (there is a SNES/16 bit shaped hole in my heart so hopefully I’ll get to more of them soon). I have yet to finish the game though, been busy T__T I was going through art block when I did those doodles on the bottom so they’re not the best - I couldn’t be bothered to polish them hahaha. The writing in older games are SO damn funny for no reason so under the cut is a collection of screenshots I thought were amusing.

NOTE THERE ARE ADULT JOKES IN THIS PARTICULAR TRANSLATION BY DEJAP, the translation is quite old, so some things may be dated. you have been warned. I prefer to play games on their original console version whenever I can so I won’t be playing any of the ports of ToP sorry T__T

Challenge the limited quests to collect “Fruit Boxes” to get 5☆ Arche, as well as other rewards. Arche can be evolved into 6☆ and her Evolution Crystals are obtained through milestones, exchange and event missions.

Exchange the “Fruit Boxes” to get various rewards such as a Purple Summon Tear and the special food item “Pudding Bread” (boost gald obtained from quests by 600% for 10 minutes).

Clear all the event related missions to get a Purple Summon Tear as final prize.

Special Gacha
Duration: 5/16 (Mon) 16:00 ～ 6/3 (Fri) 15:59

Chance to get Bond Awakening enabled 5☆ Mint, Raven, Shirley and Alvin.

The already-running awakening partners Cress, Yuri, Senel and Jude can be used to awaken Mint, Raven, Shirley and Alvin respectively.

✶ This gacha features a 5 Step Up gacha, where you pay a discounted rate to draw 10 characters and continuously raise your chances of pulling a 5☆. Steps will not be resetted even if you get a featured 5☆.

✶ You will also get rewards after a certain number of steps, and with the 15th you will be able to choose one of the featured characters (you need a total of 660 Asteria Stones to reach the 15th step).

In this gacha will also reappear other Bond Awakening enabled 5☆ characters. The rates of this gacha’s featured characters will be higher than other 5☆.

A special pick up event will be held, where one of the featured characters will have the summon rate higher than the others on certain days:

• Mint: from 5/19 (Thu) 16:00 to 5/22 (Sun) 15:59
• Raven: from 5/21 (Sat) 16:00 to 5/24 (Tue) 15:59
• Shirley: from 5/23 (Mon) 16:00 to 5/26 (Thu) 14:59
• Alvin: from 5/25 (Wed) 16:00 to 5/28 (Sat) 15:59

For the event, the single daily pull will cost 3 Asteria Stones instead of 5.

There’s also the paid option to get a 5☆ character with a multi-roll.
