This is what’s at stake. You know that gold you bought from a Tattooer that’s fantastic? Gone. That old Spaulding red that’s killer? Gone. All that will be left is whatever has passed your states guidelines and whoever is packaging it will clean up $$. It’s not about people leaching off what we do (it is, but…) it’s about protecting what we do and having the choice to use whatever pigments we choose to be the best. There are things that are sacred to this craft that outsiders (or even some insiders) will never get, and they should not be allowed to impact on how we make tattoos. If you are a competent Tattooer and know ANY basic knowledge of cross contamination this is a non issue. Sign the petition and protect what we love. After the last year and a half without tattoo events, it was a breath of fresh air to be attending one, especially in California. Held on May 7 – 9, 2021, at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville, north of Sacramento, the expo was packed with spectators in the banquet hall—giving the impression that tattoo demand will continue strongly in the future.
