I am such a nerd when it comes to antique textile books. Especially well documented jacquards in powdery grey toned colours!
I found this book in Paris, and was overjoyed to find it hidden under a stack of 1900’s Christmas catalogues!
This book hold fabrics for “Ete 1906” which is French for “summer in Edwardian times”.

I found this book in Paris, and was overjoyed to find it hidden under a stack of 1900’s Christmas catalogues!

This book holds a variety of dainty jacquard samples for “Ete 1906” which is French for “summer in Edwardian times”.

It explains how to manufacture the pattern in French, @jefchivers and I were on our way to finding out how to crack the code…which I bet is on both of our to do lists!
